So the Rumble was my first time seeing this handsome devil and am now a fan. He looks like Freddie Mercury and Rick Rude fused together. Plus he's strong too like a vaudeville strong man

He's gonna have a short shelf life in the current gimmick, but with Pat bigging him up, he is at least entertaining right now.

I feel like, after watching him wrestle for the first time last night, that if the WWE ever wanted to “reboot” the Ultimate Warrior, Boogs could be the guy to do it.

Boogs came from NXT with minimal hype and almost no exposure, but he's really killing it on the main roster. The crowds are into him, and everything they're asking him to do in the ring he's doing well. It's the rare time they're actually booking a guy to his strengths.

Boogs was sort of a causality of NXT going to TV He debuted and was getting over and then they went to TV and he got left behind

I didn’t love it or hate it but it’s saying something that him pressing dudes was one of the rumbles most memorable “spots”.

Nobody with the name Rick Boogs will ever be world champion, according to "Le Champion" himself Chris Jericho.

That may be the case, but Boogs has been growing on me for a while, even during the top-knot and acid-wash singlet look. He's got the body and gets how to use it to advantage. He might not be as solid a technician as some others, but he's a decent hand in the ring and channeling rock stars is a winning character move in my view. He deserves that Hillbilly Jim/JYD/Brodus Clay/Adam Rose spot where he energizes the crowd and can get a few decent wins in and _maybe_, just maybe, gets one of the midcard belts at some point. I like him, quite possibly enough to keep me interested in WWE, in fact. But they need to use him well and not immediately chuck him aside with the next NXT callup.

He's way too fun and likeable. I think they should take away his guitar, shave his beard and turn him heel.

Same boat, never saw him before last night and he really impressed me. In a promotion that valued quirky undercard acts, I could see him being a big hit.
This being WWE, I'm not sure which is the worse fate: He becomes a "serious" nonentity, or they get behind him and have Michael Cole squealing "It's Boogs! Boogs is here to have fun!" every week while they drive his goodwill into the ground.

I think if anyone can survive the dumb haircut and gear change, he can, but it's kind of concerning that Vince is really just trying to make him a Freddie Mercury clone instead of his own thing, because as his own thing the dude is stellar.
I remember his quick NXT stint where the crowd LOVED him, and he's only gotten better since. He's a stud, he will be in WWE or somewhere else imo.

Nakamura's done heel work before: it wouldn't be that much of a stretch for him. That said, I don't think any feud between them should be for the I-C title. Nak's due for another program with the title on the line, and perhaps dropping the belt can be the catalyst for some dissension.

Nak's due for another program with the title on the line, and perhaps dropping the belt can be the catalyst for some dissension. I wouldn't be opposed to Sami Zayn taking the title off Nakamura and fighting this conspiracy, buuuuut... Baron Corbin has only one a single championship in 5+ years of being on the main roster, and it was a brief run as United States Champion in late 2017. His heel work deserves a title. Corbin/Madcap and Nakamura/Boogs reignite a feud. Madcap helps Corbin while Boogs doesn't do enough to neutralize him Nakamura wants a rematch, instead Corbin gives the rematch to Boogs (which the fans love) After Boogs loses to Corbin in similar fashion, Nakamura turns heel Boom! You have a solid heel champion in your mid-card, Nakamura's a heel, and you've elevated Rick Boogs to being more than just the guitar hype guy.
