Not that they should've been going over Tyler Perry's House of Black two weeks into their run as a team, but kind of why I wouldn't have done the match right now to begin with? It's hard to take PAC seriously as a particularly useful member of Death Triangle when the last time either Penta or Fenix actually won while teaming with him (and not also each other) was on Dark in April and the Penta & PAC team hasn't won period.

It kind of makes sense that PAC doesn't have the chemistry with the Lucha Brothers that they have with each other so they have that as an out, although PAC and Fenix did have success last year when they won the Casino Battle Royal together.

I like everyone in Death Triangle but Death Triangle as a group is such a big ball of nothing I feel like it's somebody's shell company.

Is it hard for LB and PAC to travel? I almost wonder if they put them in a group just so they could still maintain an "identity" while not being on so much.
*forgive me if they're on there all time time, I can barely ever catch but a few mins of Dynamite.

Fenix is currently out with an injury, but PAC does have pandemic travel-related issues. That's why he hasn't been there nearly as much since the shit hit the fan in 2020.

That has very much been a thing, where a combination of injuries and travel issues have often led to only one or two of the three being available...but it's pretty rare for all three to be gone, so they do maintain a presence.

I think Penta is based in Mexico, Fenix in California, and PAC definitely lives in the UK. Now, I don't think there is much, if any, restriction between US and Mexico travel that is COVID-related, so the Lucha Bros are able to work AEW every week when healthy. PAC on the other hand, does have to deal with US-UK travel restrictions, and has missed shows as a result, most notably All Out last year.

I think Penta is based in California these days, too. Like, he and Fenix co-own a Lucha museum/store in Los Angeles so at least he's got a business interest in the state.

The main hangup these days have either been Fenix continuously getting nagging injuries or PAC's travel issues between the UK and the US stalling their booking out
They're a great team, they've just been snakebit since the pandemic.

The real win is the friends they made along the way.

It really sucks because the pandemic really hurt Pac’s time in AEW. I don’t blame him or AEW for it, because he’s still a big deal when he is able to show up, but I hope eventually when things get better we can see him more often.
