He had a ton, so there are probably a lot of different opinions on the best one for him.
Where did he finally find a fit with a gimmick to you?

I voted Kona. But that’s gotta be unprecedented. So many gimmick changes in WWF without a name change.

I went with Kronik. Yeah it was an APA knockoff, but Adams and Clark still made it work in WCW.

The Kona Crush theme on Royal Rumble for the Sega Genesis slaps so hard.

I personally liked Everything I Do (I Do For You), but Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman was underrated. Summer of 69 was a banger too.

I went with Kronik. Yeah it was an APA knockoff, but Adams and Clark still made it work in WCW. Yeah, they were two big lugs but they got over. If the WWF would have given them jobbers to squash instead of two additional big lugs (to lose to) in Kane and Undertaker then they would have gotten over again.

Kona Crush above all others followed behind Kronik. Everything else was awful. He destroyed all that Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow worked so hard for, for 3+ years. He couldn't even get over as a heel whether with Macho, Lex or Yoko in feuds/partnerships. I have no idea how Kona Crush was so entertaining but he was, especially compared to all his other Crush related storylines over the years.

The real answer is newLEGACYinc Brian Adams, but since that's not really a valid option, I say Kronik as probably as good of a character he's ever had, even if it was just APA 4:20.

I still say they should’ve brought back Kona Crush for 2002-2004. Give him a nostalgia run maybe a partnership with Taker when he was feuding with Big Show, A-Train and Lesnar.

I liked that period of Jailbird Crush from the initial comeback to joining the Nation. Also really liked the look during the first heel Crush run too.

Kronik. Adams was better as a tag guy and he'd found a partner he had some degree of chemistry with, got a look that worked for him and he could just kick butts without anyone expecting him to cut promos.
Shame about the match they had with Kane and Taker in his 'man made of sandbags' phase.

Kona Crush for me. Great look and I think the character should have lasted longer. Never really a fan of his heel run after that.

I mean..none of them...
But if I HAD to choose it would be Kona Crush.
Simply for the fact that it gave us "Doink brah, you're making kids cry brah" which OSW immortalized years later.

Kona Crush just before the summer of 1992...you know, when the accent came, brah.

I was a big fan of Kona Crush mostly because of his theme song and that he almost slammed Yokozuna.

I liked Brian Adams no matter what he did, but Kona Crush was his best chance of breaking through.

Kona Crush just before the summer of 1992...you know, when the accent came, brah. I thought adding the Hawaii element and making him more a surfer dude was actually an upgrade. At least it gave him a more definitive character. Like what was he even supposed to be before that? Some guy who has a strange obsession of crushing things and who likes hanging out in a junk yard for some reason? Nice and easy going Hawaiian who is also a giant bad ass and will destroy you if you piss him off to me is pretty good face character in that it's relatable and isn't overly goofy like a lot of the other gimmicks at the time. Unfortunately they made him look so bad in the Doink feud that it really never had a chance.
