In Kayfebe it’s implied Hulk Hogan is playing the character of “Rip” in No Holds Barred, and that the film is staged and WWF is real. So why is his WWF feud with “Zeus” and not “Tom Lister. Either film and wrestling are real, or Zeus held a grudge against Hogan for a scripted film.
He did. Zeus, the character, was upset Hogan received top billing over him.

On the July 7th 1986 episode of Primetime Wrestling, Gorilla Monsoon claims to have been in both the shortest and longest matches in MSG history. He claims the longest match was 94 minutes. Are either of these things true or is this Monsoon making stuff up because Google didn't exist yet?
I've accidentally stumbled upon the 2010 Hogan debut episode of TNA and man, what a bizarre fever dream. Totally bizarre episode when compared to even the week prior to Hogan showing up.
If Shawn Michaels joined his clique buddies in the NWO, what would he have gone by? Hall and Nash could get away with going by their real names since they sounded cool, but "Michael Hickenbottom" as part of an evil invading faction wouldn't have been as intimidating.
If you added up all the days of every title that Goldberg won in both WCW and WWE, it still would fall short of Gillberg's reign as Light Heavyweight champion.

Shawn Michaels, it was his ring name outside of the WWF so they'd have an uphill battle to claim ownership. They lost the Warrior suit on the same grounds, and while they may sent vague legal threats to WCW, they probably wouldn't have followed through.

You know you watch too much wrestling when, on your way to work, you see a cement mixer backing up and you think, “I hope no one’s prized Corvette is nearby!”
In 2000 the Big Show proved the Rock's feet touched the floor first in the Royal Rumble, and that show was the rightful winner of the match, so why do WWE, Wikipedia etc still list the Rock as the winner?

Watching the MJF/Danielson Iron Man reminds me of the real Screwjob involving Bret - the Mania 12 Iron Man going to overtime. If its a draw at 60 minutes Bret retains. The boyhood dream should have failed.

Tuned into Pro Wrestling NOAH live for a bit last night (watched Nakajima/Miyahara earlier in the evening), and absolutely loved Shiozaki vs. Kojima. Probably the most I've enjoyed a Kojima guest star match, which come to think of it is probably all of the Kojima matches that I've watched. Shiozaki was kind of odd to watch now - I haven't seen him wrestle since 2008 give or take, and there's pretty much no resemblance between then and now.
This meant that I was tuned in for the debut of The Great Sakuya, which was...well it was a weird match but that was by design and I adore her immediately. I've wondered how the various puro promotions starting up women's divisions would find ways to stand out, and "We've got The Great Muta's daughter from the demon realm" is certainly a hook for why one would care about NOAH's women's wrestling. Does make me worry that the joshi scene outside of Stardom and TJPW is set to get cannibalized by the men's promotions, though.
