So, AEW might just be signing a 16 year old prodigy to a contract. Anyone who has been following the indies has heard that third generation star Nick Wayne has been having standout work in the last year everywhere he goes, so it will be interesting to see how his path to the big time starts.

Smart hire, the roster is big, but these are the type of signings you make to sure up your future He now becomes the youngest star on the roster by a good two years because Julia Hart is friggen 19. And if he wrestles this year even on Universal tapings which I assume he will, he'll be the youngest competitor to ever compete in AEW, edging out Kenzie Paige who wrestled at 18, right after High School graduation. The youth upside in AEW is ridiculous, it's maybe one of their strongest points Guess you can't call the state athletic commission on him now, can ya?

Yeah, I don't think he will be on Dynamite or Rampage much because it's a school night (at least until summer), but I'm sure he'll be a regular on the Orlando DARK tapings working with guys like Danielson on the regular.

I can see him making a Dynamite at some point just because he's an eye opening prodigy, but he'll absolutely get reps on DARK Again AEW's youth upside is crazy, I remembered gawking at Griff Garrison and Lee Johnson both being like 22, and they've raised the bar lol

I've already heard a lot about this guy.
It's crazy how much AEW is building towards the future.
Nick Wayne Lee Johnson Lee Moriaty Daniel Garcia Hook
The 4 pillars are already upper midcard within 2 and a half years of AEW being on TV. This next class are all going to be future top tier stars at some point

This next class are all going to be future top tier stars at some point Then there's also the likes of Dante, Darius, Griff Garrison, Brock Anderson, Gunn Club, Fuego, Alan, Marko, Bear Bronson, Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Anna Jay, Red Velvet, KiLynn King, Abadon and the also newly signed AQA Just a shit ton of wrestlers in their early to mid 20's in the company, it's a really good upside to have while also having a bevy of upper card talent. These are the kinds of systems WCW didn't put in place and it was a reason they failed. It's an encouraging system to let fans know they plan to be around for a long time with a sustainable future.

These are the kinds of systems WCW didn't put in place and it was a reason they failed. It's an encouraging system to let fans know they plan to be around for a long time with a sustainable future. Yeah it looks good Dante - Man that guy has really taken the ball and run with it in his Brothers absense. Great high-flying talent that always does things that make me think shouldn't be possible. Reminds me a little of Ricochet in that aspect, but Dante has the platform to prove it without being held back Darius - Obviously haven't seen as much of him as Dante because of the injury, but during top flights early run 12 months ago I thought he had just as much potential as Dante. I can absolutely see top flight winning the tag team titles in 2 or 3 years, easily could be as good as the Usos by 2024 Griff Garrison - Simply put the guy is a bluechipper. I actually think he's much better than Pillman. Better Wrestler, better promo and he proved that to me when he cut that backstage promo about Malacki Black. Let's be real it's because of his last name why Pillman is pushed more. If we take that away I don't think he really does anything better than Griff imo. Griff is also deceptively big and has a great star look about him Brock Anderson - Was really impressed with his recent showing against FTR. Has a ton of potential. Is inevitabley going to be compared to his father, but he can carve a good career on his own merit Gunn Club - they're a good up and coming tag team. I think Austin is a little better but colten hasn't been wrestling as long so I'm sure hell catch up. I watch a lot of them on Dark and I've seen the improvements they've made on a match by match basis. One thing I picked up on is you can tell Austin is Billy's favourite and goes out his way to praise him more, its just something I noticed. I'm sure they'll do good things. They had a really good match with Jurassic Express on Rampage but it's not yet their time to win tag team titles but maybe in a couple of years. The tag team division is ridiculously stacked Fuego - He's pretty good, need to see a bit more of him. I could see him turning on Sammy at some point, might do him good Marko - I don't see it tbh. I don't think he'll get his contract renewed. I haven't seen anything in the ring from him to convince me he's going to be a top talent. Was just really the 3rd wheel in Jurassic Express Alan - another one that has a promising future. I don't think he's been booked all that great tbh, should be closer to a threat for the TNT title. Either that or him and Preston vance should be a bigger deal in the tag team division. Bear Bronson - Yeah I think he's much better than his tag team partner. Not that I think they should break up but I've been more impressed with his work. Big guy but hes incredibly athletic for his size. He's a promising young talent, but like I said earlier the tag division is stacked so hopefully there not lost in the shuffle Julia Hart - At first I wasn't all that high on her, but she's only 20 and has really been improving. She's got that athleticism that she incorporated in her wrestling moves and her character work has come on. Glad to be wrong about my first instincts she's very good and will only get better Skye Blue - Another young up and comer. She's been one of the highlights on Dark. She's not yet ready for a push on TV yet but she has that underdog babyface look about her and will do good things. She reminds me a lot of NXTs Cora Jade as far as her look and potential go Anna Jay - She's a future top star. I feel like she should be booked the same as Tay, Statlander and Hayter as I feel her in ring ability is closer to them as it is to the likes of Julia Hart and Skye Blue. I see her Tay, Hayter and Statlander as the 4 young pillars of the division. I guess ironically she's like the Jungle Boy of the 4 and is pushed later than the others Red Velvet - She's really come a long way, has more than paid her dues and worked her way up through the rankings and I really respect that and the work she's put in. I remember she lost to Shida In 5 seconds and has really worked her way from the bottom. She's shown that she has tons of potential Kylinn King - She's someone that I think really should've been officially signed by now. She's really grown and improved since we first saw her on Dark, she's a big lady that can be a big powerhouse that can beat anyone but also is a goid athlete. She should be signed with a big company by now. Surprised impact at leadt haven't picked her up since they've scouted a lot of Women that had been on Dark and later signed them like Lady frost and Masha. I think Kylinn has just as much potential Abadon - This is a tough one because I've noticed in her recent matches how much her ring work has improved. I just think her gimmick has a shelf life. I've pitched this idea before but I'd like to see her wrestle as herself and not as Abadon. I'm not saying to kill Abadon off but only use her in big situations, think Finn Balor as an example where he wrestkes as Finn Balor and only brings out the demon king in big feuds or when he's in trouble, I guess something like that, but I feel her character needs to evolve AQA - Yeah she impressed the hell out of me. Only saw her twice against Toni Storm in NXT and this match and one thing I noticed in both matches is that she hits the ropes with intensity like she's in a real fight. Hits a nice shooting star press as well. You can even see the difference in how she executed that move in both her matches with Storm and Cargill, against storm she almost underrotated but against Cargill it looked far more crisp, not surprising since that happened last summer and she's been working on perfecting that move. Good signing, I already think she's slightly better than Skye Blue and Julia Hart, she'll be mostly on Dark for the next 12-18 month, she's more one for the future like Hart and Skye but the potential is definitely there Damn wasn't expecting my post to be this long lol

Word is it's basically an apprenticeship. He has to finish school and turn 18, then he'll get a full time contract. So it's basically AEW locking him up for the future.
I've only seen bits and pieces but everything I've heard it sounds like he could be a real talent.

I hope he comes up with a moniker (unless he has one already?) like "The (Blank) Nick Wayne"
Because just being called "Nick Wayne" sounds like the NXT name generator gone bland.

Alvarez (who was trained by Nick's father so he's a bit biased) said he's a better worker at this point than Dante Martin and while the latter is more spectacular, I definitely see where he's coming from. Nick is having very good main event matches on a regular basis now. He could be at a level we've never seen before from someone this young when he goes full time in two years.

Nick Wayne see a already having a heck of a year. There’s this, and it’s looking more likely he will get a match on WrestleMania Weekend against his favorite wrestler: Will Ospreay.

A good signing but man I hope AEW go for Rok C for the women's division as she's a superb young talent who would be massive for them for years.
