What are some building that you think are the best to watch matches in? Can use historical and defunct/torn down venues as well. What are some that you feel are maybe unsung meccas of wrestling? Not counting any big places that are stadiums, or have a stadium feel to it (so capacity preferable under 20,000...but over 5,000 as anything under me tends to have that high school gym feel to it) I've always loved Boston Garden. It seats only 15,000 or so for wrestling but the fans seemed to be right on top of the action, even the furthest up reaches of the upper deck weren't really close to being considered nosebleeds. And it still crammed enough people in it to have that bigtime event feel. Also...Maple Leaf Gardens. Also loved how it came across as a wrestling venue I've seen plenty of matches at Madison Square Garden (pre recent renovation) it's nice but the short entrance way I always found odd. Maple Leaf Gardens.

I haven't been to that many venues but MSG has always stood out. Great sight lines and when sold out, it just feels larger than most other arenas. Significantly better than my experience at other places in the area like the Barclays Center, Prudential Center, or even a smaller venue like the Hammerstein Ballroom.

I honestly don't "know" any arenas. I just like when the presentation looks different than the usual.
Honorable mention to Baltimore staircase.

The Manhattan Center.
It really helped Raw feel so different from WWF's syndicated shows right from the jump.

The Spectrum was another old arena that seemed to go straight up so the fans were right on top of the action. It was a zoo during Flyers games and had a great atmosphere for wrestling too.

I did see a show at a baseball stadium once (one of the two ill fated GFW-TNA house shows) and it was a really cool aesthetic. I wish we still saw some big shows at baseball stadiums stateside.

KBS Hall in Kyoto will always be a favourite of mine. I’m on mobile so posting a picture is a bitch, so I’d encourage anyone that doesn’t know what it looks like to give it a Google/Bing/whatever search engine you use.

The Carousel Room at the Showboat where GCW does their Atlantic City shows is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues.

Damn, I love those pics of Maple Leaf Gardens. The stands almost look vertical.

The maple leaf gardens and Madison Square Garden were so easily identifiable and iconic and the Manhattan center had a great atmosphere.
I also loved the sportatorium look.

I absolutely loved the small aisle way when WWE would go to Madison Square Garden. Shame they don't use it anymore.

Damn, I love those pics of Maple Leaf Gardens. The stands almost look vertical. it was just one big wall of stands. Pretty steep too. No tiers or decks to break it up. The areas where the NHL nets used to be you had a very tight fit. But two levels right on top of each other. so steep you had these railings in front of the seats. very unique venue

Allstate Arena. It's kind of a craphole, but the acoustics make for a raucous crowd.

Was Maple Leaf Gardens the one that had a ramp that lead the ring, usually from the hard camera side?

-Old school MSG arena before the renovations, loved the aisle way across from the hard cam like at WM10, Survivor Series 96, etc. -The old Boston Gardens, never been there but I liked the way it looked on TV. -Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, it was unique seeing the rampway on WWF TV. -The Manhattan Center/Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC.
