The 2006 Dreamworks animated movie: Over The Hedge.
Which includes some bangers from Ben Folds:
Such as Heist which is a fun little bop:
And a PG reworking of his 2001 song Rocking The Suburbs:

Funny enough the other day after it came up on Wrest I thought about making a thread on the Punisher 2004 soundtrack. Listened to that album constantly.

Pretty incredible how one of the few post-Miseducation studio efforts from Lauryn Hill wound up on the Surf's Up soundtrack of all places. It's definitely a high-key slapper

Pretty incredible how one of the few post-Miseducation studio efforts from Lauryn Hill wound up on the Surf's Up soundtrack of all places. It's definitely a high-key slapper Surf's Up is another animated film with a surprisingly great soundtrack on the whole, a family film also boasting songs from the likes of: Sugar Ray, Green Day, 311 and The New Radicals. And is also a very surprisingly good movie too. (The WWE produced direct to DVD sequel... yeah not so much.)

A couple of movies with Shaq had soundtracks better than the movie. As bad as Kazaam was, the soundtrack was great. Check out this song from Choice, a group that had a young Pink in it. This song was on the soundtrack.
There were other good songs, like that song from Nathan Morris of Boyz II Men.
Also, I remember getting the Steel soundtrack for my birthday when I was a kid. So many good tracks on there, especially Men of Steel.

For an indie movie, Bully had a killer soundtrack with solid tracks from JT Money, Cage, Fatboy Slim, Thurston Moore, Bizzy Bone, and ODB.

the Ghosts Of Mars soundtrack was one of the hottest albums when I was in high school, so many of us owned that album and jammed out to it.

Batman and Robin soundtrack, one track later reused for Snyder's Watchmen trailer Batman Forever had some absolute bangers as well, from the late Michael Hutchence's cover of "The Passenger", to Tracey Thorn's cover of "The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game", to the now immortal "Kiss From a Rose" by Seal. The Street Fighter '94 soundtrack feels like an unlikely goldmine, if you're a hip-hop head. First place I heard Ahmad, Saafir, and The Pharcyde.

The Bayformers movies have some absolute gems across the anthology composed by Steve Jablonsky - Arrival to Earth, Tessa, Bumblebee and more.

Going into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, you don't really expect to hear bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen or DEVO, but there they are. Speaking of, whatever happened to Shampoo?

Outside Providence was not memorable and baited people with the Farrelly Brothers connection, but had a great collection of 70s rock.

‘FM’ is an absolutely terrible movie with an amazing soundtrack. Steely Dan, Linda Ronstadt, Bob Seeger, Steve Miller, Jimmy Buffett, Tom Petty, Boston, James Taylor, Joe Walsh, the Doobie Brothers, and more. It is an incredible collection of late ‘70’s rock. Buy the album, but don’t bother watching the movie.
