I've been thinking about how The Rugrats Movie and Rugrats in Paris soundtracks actually have some low-key (or maybe high-key?) slappers on them.
Any soundtracks spring to mind for you like this?

The Crow: City of Angels. Terrible movie, amazing soundtrack, with White Zombie's cover of "I'm Your Boogieman" and Hole's cover of "Gold Dust Woman" being standout tracks.

I’ve always said the theme to the Mr Bean Movie is surprisingly epic.

Dumb and Dumber, full of great tunes for driving down the highway.

The Devil's Rejects. Say what you will about Rob Zombie's movies, but he can pick some damn good music for his movies.

Spawn.
The movie sucks. But the soundtrack kicks.

I love the Robotech the Movie soundtrack. Your milage may vary on if that's good or not.

Hi; you all now know precisely how old I am. But there was this old trend of studios somehow getting bands to actually write new songs FOR a movie soundtrack, ABOUT the movie, instead of them just shipping off some b-side sitting around or using a hit.
Also, the soundtrack to the movie Kids is goddamn phenomenal, and, as I think I've mentioned here before, almost every single one would make for killer pro wrestling entrance music.

The 1980 Al Pacino movie Cruising is kind of controversial and was even more so back then (I think it’s underrated IMO but that’s another topic) but it has some awesome punk rock and funk tunes.
I’ll second Romeo and Juliet 1996.
Jerry Goldsmith’s score for The Shadow is beautiful.
Nutty Professor 2 can’t be watched without a set amount of alcohol or edibles. But there’s great R&B on the soundtrack from Case, Dru Hill and Janet Jackson and an overlooked DMX cut.
Tank Girl had some bangers from Bjork, Magnificent Bastards and a remade version from Devo of Girl U Want that I actually like better than the original.
Xanadu is one of both ELO and Olivia Newton John’s best albums.

Last Action Hero has some of the best metal and hard rock of its time period. I love that soundtrack.

Queen of the Damned may not have been for everyone but damn I loved that soundtrack.
Little Nicky had a kick ass soundtrack as well. Played the hell out of it during high school.

"Streets Of Fire" is a favorite.
I wish I could find the soundtrack for "Tapeheads", apparently it was released but it's super-rare.

If you liked the Industrial/Nu Metal stuff that was happening around 2001 then Queen of the Damned was all bangers.

It was played to death on radio circa 2016, but I still think "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding is a great song despite my aversion to the Fifty Shades franchise.
