I imagine if you train under Dan when he's part of The DLC it'll say at the end you'll decide to forget everything about Saikyo like Sakura did.

I'd love one day for a character who trained under Dan, but are unaware they are far superior of a fighter then he is and do a much better version of Saikyo-ryu. Like, they have all the special moves from Ryo and Robert and maybe even Takuma.

Apparently there's been a few standard complaints about the simplified controls option from the standard elitists.
Of course, not sure how those same elitists will ever justify losing to people they complain are supposedly bad at video games in a game where the strategy is more important than the movements anyway

You lose some agency with the modern control scheme compared to classic and it does have its disadvantages in advanced competitive play. So any player of superior skill will still generally do better with the classic controls.
Modern controls are a scrub destroyer, though. And most of these so-called elitists are just that: scrubs.

Right, it is a tool, but, like the Hitbox, it's one of those things that people need time to get used to in order to see it's not this inherently suprerior conquerer to traditional execution. Just, different and with some major benefits versus substantial drawbacks.

…oh my god Modern Guile. Just…Modern Guile, my friends. Modern Guile. Wow. So far I have faced one Guile in ranked... and as I play Dhalsim the amount of turtling was almost hilarious, we nearly had two time out results.

I've just beat World Tour mode. Was fun and I loved that they added more personality to the SF Cast. JP is a real scumbag, isn't he?

Just, different and with some major benefits versus substantial drawbacks. Basically, modern controls make this game a hell of a lot more accessible to people who don't have the dexterity or mental or muscle memory to deal with the typical Capcom/SNK/ASW-style fighter. It opens up the game to people with physical or mental disabilities, too. It means a whole new audience can join in on the fun and even hold their own in regular or even some ranked online play, since the modern control metagame becomes a lot more about pure strategy than relying as much on execution skill.
But yeah, as much as the scrubs are stressing about this RUINING FIGHTING GAMES, it's not like they'll be a threat to Daigo or JWong anytime soon, either.

I just got my first SF6 rage quit! That casual Jamie couldn’t handle my Juri.

So I actually have a stick and a Hitbox style controller The only thing a Hitbox even lets me do better IMO is the Shoryuken/EWGF zigzag motion, which I'm terrible at on a stick. And a Shoryuken has had assist controls to mitigate that since SF4 (forward, down forward, forward also works) And even then, Hitbox controllers also give me the blatant disadvantage of having to think harder than I should about 360 motions if I'm playing Zangief

I just looked up what a Hitbox controller looked like and it confused and infuriated me.

So this is an art collaboration they did. Doubt it but I really want Chun-Li to get a Yor skin now.

We officially have a release date for Rashid, he is dropping July 24th, literally the day after his themed battle pass ends in the game.

I have also been playing Ken Fighter 6: Hyper Kenneth. Seriously, how many Kens? Scrapping it out in Iron with Luke with Classic controls. Not doing real well, if I'm honest. Still it's fun.

Capcom today has announced that Street Fighter 6 has already sold 2 million copies. Yes this means it is already blowing past 5 in terms of sales pace. As thanks all players are getting a small in game item celebrating the milestone.

So, next DLC is the new character A.K.I., who is 99% likely to be F.A.N.G.'s disciple.
