I was wondering. Has anyone on here gone to see any AEW PPV in theaters? I saw that a theater in my area was showing this and thought it would be a good idea. It turned out that some theaters close to my area had shown some AEW PPVs like Full Gear and All Out, but the closest one was about 25 minutes away from where I live. But when I found that Revolution was showing at a closer theater, I couldn't pass it up.
If anybody on here has seen an AEW PPV in theaters, do they also show the kick-off show beforehand? I saw Summerslam in theaters last August, and the kick-off show wasn't shown, but it might be different for AEW shows. This will also be the first time I had seen an AEW PPV because I hardly watch PPV shows, but if this is shown in theaters, I couldn't pass this up. I may also contribute to the live thread from the theater like I did for Summerslam.

When I saw Full Gear in theaters, they definitely showed the kick-off in theaters. As long as you've got a fun crowd, it'll be a good time. Enjoy!

Yep, just go in at the time it says; I think most sites should list the show as 7pm, so the kickoff should be starting them. I enjoyed it for Full Gear, hoping I can do it again this week.

Cool they're doing thks by my house. Tickets are 25 bucks. I'll wait until Sunday and see if I feel like going out and there's tickets left. Only 2 sold as of now.

The local theatre showing it has sold 28 tickets. That’s pretty cool. Should I go.....?

I might try it out if there's a theater close enough showing it.
EDIT: Oh shit, the Cinemark theater nearest me is showing it for $25.

Having watched WWE in a bar - this will f***ing rule, mate. I used to do that a lot with friends in college, at Buffalo Wild Wings, until it got to the point where you had to get there like an hour early to even get a table. It just stopped being worth the hassle. I'd totally give this theater thing a try if I had still had friends. Or could just go with my wife and not have to figure out what to do with our kid. Man I can't wait until he is old enough to watch wrestling with me.

Yeah, the bar I used to go to was a sports bar so they were used to having that licence with NFL games and the like. The table came with the ticket. I wish I could go to a cinema showing a wrestling show, sounds like a blast.

Alright, pulled the trigger and bought tickets to watch Revolution at the local Cinemark theater. They have the best theater in my area so it helped sell me on it. 34 of the 69 available tickets have been sold. Very curious to see what the atmosphere will be like. Cheering? Silence?

Brings me back to the 80's with the closed circuit PPVs. It felt larger than life itself as a kid.
Going to Buffalo Wild Wings for ppvs used to be the shizznit during my college days. Going to a theater would be fun.

I went to the last one in Brooklyn and loved it. They're not showing it anywhere near Albany, or I would go. People cheered, booed, and made jokes, but were polite about it. Fascinating atmosphere.

I want to, but my theaters around here suck, and don't carry the PPV.

I didn't really want to drive an hour to the closest theater to me that's showing it, plus I had it in my head that I was too cheap to pay $20 to see it...
...but after that Punk/MJF segment last night, I'm really tempted to go.

Looks like zero seats sold at my local theater. Well I'm glad I didn't buy tickets hoping for a fun atmosphere. ncg.intensify-solutions.com/embed/purchase/743969No brainer between spending 40 bucks plus taxes/fees plus movie concession costs plus arranging a babysitter vs ordering it at home and throwing some pizza rolls in the oven

I expect a lot of tickets will be snatched up the day of the event. Like I'm buying my ticket tomorrow.
