Alright, pulled the trigger and bought tickets to watch Revolution at the local Cinemark theater. They have the best theater in my area so it helped sell me on it. 34 of the 69 available tickets have been sold. Very curious to see what the atmosphere will be like. Cheering? Silence? When I saw Summerslam in theaters back in August, there was no theater etiquette. People talked and cheered. It's not like watching a movie in theaters. Go nuts if you talk and cheer. Nobody will care.

Bought my ticket today! Advance tickets are starting to move at a decent clip now. Don't think it will be a packed house, but a couple of days ago it was like, five tickets sold. Now it's about half-full.
And yeah, I knew someone who went to a theater showing for one of the PPV's up north and it was like, almost a party atmosphere. Definitely not expecting typical cinema etiquette.

So - to those who went and watched Revolution in theaters, what did you think?
My experience was AWESOME. I could not recommend it enough. We had close to a full theater. About 50-60 people. People were hootin and hollerin and cheering and just having a good time the whole show.
Plus, a given, the audio and video experience of a movie theater is so much better than at home.
The beginning of the show was super hot to everyone. People definitely got tired. But the Regal surprise made the whole place go crazy. Easily the best part of the night.
Any other reports?

I wasn't in one but Alvarez reported that he heard from a lot of folks in theaters that Wardlow giving Punk the ring was the biggest pop of the night.

We had fun, but man, this was the longest I have been at a theater in years. The last time I was in a theater for a long period of time was in 2016 when I did the Independence Day double feature. My theater didn't have as many people. It was around 15-20 where I was. People reacted the most for Regal's appearance. We all applauded after some matches. I told one of my friends that we could kill time before the main show started. I am glad we watched the pre-show because the matches were entertaining, but man, including the Buy-in, this was a five hour show. If Double or Nothing is shown in theaters, I hope that the card won't be as stacked. We still have until late May for that.
