Had this thought, which wrestlers from the 90s or earlier who can still wrestle would you still really like to see face each other.
Only qualifications are that the wrestlers in question have to be #1 alive and #2 made their wrestling debut December 31, 1999 or earlier.
I still really want Rey Misterio vs Taka Michunoku to happen. It's wild to me that even during Rey's time between WWE stints they never once shared a ring.

Rey v. TAKA is a great one.
It's hard to come up with good ones considering the condition of many of the 90s wrestlers today, but I'll go with Angle v. Shamrock.

I don't know who all is active even to be able to consider, but disco inferno might be one. 1) as far as I know, he's still having matches, so he can at least get in the ring and move still, which is more than a lot of others, and 2) has a character to lean on, so he doesn't have to do nine million moves to get through a match. he can do the dance and get the crowd into it, the "he messed up my hair!" thing, try to figure out his finishing move with the instructions, etc
everyone else is either broken down (hulk/hall/nash/shawn/hunter/malenko/arn/flair/undertaker/bret/raven, etc) or dead (perfect/macho/rude/warrior/bossman/benoit/owen/candido/bigelow, etc), so you are narrowed down to who can still get in a ring and move, and has a character to get over with the crowd to lean on to pick up the slack from the physical side. Like how lawler still has matches where all he does is punch and maybe the piledriver, because he has the king character to hold up the crowd interaction part.
Disco inferno vs blue meanie in a dance off would be a good break for the crowd during a show, match-match-match, do a fun segment with two characters that have signature dances entertain the crowd before you go back to match-match-match. Could do tommy dreamer vs sting as like a "leader of their company" match or something

Three more I thought of and double checked to confirm have never happened:
Ultimo Dragon vs Christian
Gangrel vs Great Muta
Tajiri vs Sting

Same answer as always; Masaaki Mochizuki vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi.

There's a few with Michunoku you could do as he was a tag/low card guy for most of his WWE run and after the invasion (which he never participated in from memory) he returned to Japan and seldom left.
TAKA v Jericho would be mine.
Won't happen but Rock turning up in AEW would be a buzz and I think they'd take the opportunity to do Rock v Sting (maybe as a tag if both are too old for a long match), Rock in the Broken universe if Matt Hardy returns to the compound should be done too.

When I find a magic genie, I’m using one wish on prime Bret Hart v. Prime Kurt Angle.
I figure once wrestling fans elect me King, that’ll take care of financial considerations for me.

We technically could still get Sting vs Muta again.

Well Wikipedia says that both John Cena and Samoa Joe debuted in late 1999 so do they count?

We technically could still get Sting vs Muta again. I’d love to see Tony Khan pull the trigger on this. Kind of like Khan saying, “Sorry WWE screwed up not doing Sting/Taker. I can’t give it to you either, but here’s this.”

I think Spike's done, too. I guess if Bully and Devon have made up, maybe he could team with Devon's sons, but that's about it.

We technically could still get Sting vs Muta again. If AEW and NJPW does a joint show, I won't be surprised if this happen. Hell do a tag team match with Darby/Sting vs Muta and someone from NOAH.

I don't think there are any. Everyone has either faced each other, retired, or aged/injured out of working a decent match.
Or they weren't big enough to really make a true "dream match."
Even the Taka/Rey match mentioned above, while I'm sure it would be good, is hard to call a dream match simply because of the way Taka was booked.
