I think he should go for the world title at double or nothing as a heel vs hangman page. I think Punk should win the title too.I feel like the AEW title could benefit from a guy like Punk in the title’s lineage after a 7 year hiatus

It feels like it is Punk's time. He motioned the title around his waist after the MJF match.
Just glad we're moments away from MJF vs. Wardlow

I want to see Punk vs Hangman, but keep it Face vs Face. I want face vs face, with Punk's loss starting a slow heel turn

It'll be interesting to see if something gets in his way of a title shot again, he did the title belt taunt after Full Gear as well.
If I had to bet I'd say MJF wins it at DoN then Punk faces him at All Out in Chicago but I couldn't guess Punk's path for the next 6 or so months then.

I feel like Page vs Punk at DON should be the way to go. I feel like Punk is ready for it now, the ring rust is off, he’s on a fantastic run. That feels like the biggest match AEW has right now in terms of whose being pushed hardest right now. And in Punk/Page match I have no clue who should win. Because Punk doesn’t really need the title. Page is the guy you want to build up for potential legendary status.

I want to see Punk vs Hangman, but keep it Face vs Face. A heel straight edge punk berating A self doubting hangman would be money. Punk can win the title as a heel and lose it as a face to Heel Mox or something

I’m ready for Punk to be champion. He’s doing some of the best character work of his career, I’d be interested to see what he does with it.

I feel like he has to be "Hangman" Adam Page's next challenger, presumably at "Double or Nothing," but I don't think he should win... I actually think Page should defeat him cleanly, and the becomes the catalyst the leads to Punk turning heel.
It feels like the first act of Punk's return was riddled with self-doubt, slowly testing himself to see if he still had it and the second part has been told during the MJF and Eddie Kingston feuds of him returning to that "Best in the World" status, but losing cleanly to Page would provide a great spark for him to turn heel if they so choose to go in that direction.
Regardless, him and the Hangman would be a hell of a match.

Moxley, Punk, Danielson, Samoa Joe, Regal, ROH, and just let it happen.
I think Malakai Black and Miro would be better opponents for Hangman now, but DoN Punk-Hangman would be cool. Moxley-Hangman might work too though.

A part of me wants him thrown with Regal/Danielson/Mox.

Kayfabe I think he'd be next in line but I'd be worried he'd WAY outpop Page in a face/face so maybe he needs a heel turn now.

I think Punk post-Revolution is prone for a quick title run.

I actually am ok with Miro being a feud for Hangman's belt right now too, Miro said he was waiting on creative, and I assume that meant for the PPV that was set in stone to be done with and things to move along.

I know he has to turn, but I kind of don't want to see it, if he's going to go back to how he was in the past.
Old Man Punk, who has worked his shit out and doesn't hate everyone and everything, is preferable to me.
And yeah, I know, "You knew I was a snake" and all that, but I'd rather not see him chase the persona of his younger, bitter days.

I’d book Punk/Page for Double or Nothing now. And even if Punk out pops Page I think the AEW fan base likes Hangman well enough to where he’ll get a decent reaction on his own end, and he also benefits from working with someone of Punk’s star stature so long as he isn’t being buried.
Hence why it should probably be face vs. face, and Page should retain. I think he needs to lose it after a few months to an over heel, either maybe an MJF or Danielson. Punk should beat one of them afterwards, then unless Darby (or Hobbes, in my dreams) is on the warpath then Page should win it back from a face champion Punk.

I love Hangman Page, I really do. That said, I think you need to go with Punk as champion for a bit starting at Double or Nothing.
I know he's older and it goes counter to what AEW's been doing with their champs, but he's clearly *the* guy right now. He's the one getting the mainstream press, huge crowd reactions, that kind of stuff. It's also abundantly clear he's not an old guy that needs to be carried - he's having some of the best matches of his career.
Old Man Punk beating the young guy in Page seems to be a logical conclusion to this portion of Punk's story. Then he can go heel and help make some more babyfaces for AEW. I acknowledge I'm biased, but it just feels like it's his time. Hangman will have enjoyed a really strong reign by the time DoN comes around and you do need a few shorter reigns here or there.
I also acknowledge that Hangman beating Punk and then Punk gets grumpy is another great direction. It's an embarrassment of riches, but I think it's Punk's time. He can lose it to MJF at All Out to complete their trilogy. Then you can go to MJF/Hangman and it's a battle between two guys made by Danielson/Punk. I keep editing this post because I'm talking myself into it more.
