I fully expect Cody Rhodes to appear on tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night RAW to start a feud with Seth Rollins.
Ever since the news broke on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 that Cody had left All Elite Wrestling,
I had full expected him to soon be making his long-awaited return to WWE at some point before WrestleMania 38.
My belief is that late last week, Cody had secretly agreed to terms with WWE about returning to WWE.
If Cody has agreed to return to WWE, then that is such a truly great pickup by WWE.
The best part of Cody's professional wrestling career is definitely his legendary tenure in All Elite Wrestling.
Hopefully, WWE wouldn't ever turn him into a joke at any point in the future
like they had previously done when they gave him that ridiculous Stardust gimmick years ago.
Cody was definitely booked to his full potential throughout his entire tenure in All Elite Wrestling.
Cody's grueling and iconic match versus his older brother Dustin at AEW: Double of Nothing on May 25, 2019
at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the Las Vegas superb of Paradise, Nevada
is one of the greatest singles matches that I have ever seen.
That type of a singles match between Cody and Dustin really should have occurred in WWE at WrestleMania 2015 instead.
That's yet another missed opportunity by Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
Vince should have realized that Cody vs. Dustin at WrestleMania 2015 in a hardcore style match
would have been great for business and that it would have made millions and millions and millions of WWE fans really happy.
If Cody does appear on tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night RAW,
then his acquisition to the RAW roster would immediately give RAW more credibility, higher praise and more buzz too.
Thus far, the only exciting thing that has happened on RAW this year has been the Edge vs. A.J. Styles feud.
At this current time, there isn't anywhere near enough "true star power" on the WWE main roster.
It really hurt the credibility of WWE's main roster when Aleister Black, Andrade, Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Buddy Murphy,
Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Hit Row, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, Karrion Kross, Keith Lee, Mickie James,
Nia Jax, Ruby Riott, Tegan Nox and Toni Storm all left WWE recently.
It also hurt WWE when rising stars such as Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Bronson Reed, Ember Moon, Kyle O'Reilly and Mercedes Martinez
all left WWE recently.
