Here is Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey. It looks like a creature from Star Wars brought to life. I want him to be my best friend and sit on my couch and watch TV and eat pizza with me.

The Sumatran striped rabbit, a rabbit so rare the locals don't even have a name for it.

The duck-billed platypus. It's only one of two known species of mammals that lay eggs. And the males of the species are one of the few known mammals that are venomous.

This is a Pallas's Cat. Scientists have spent millions of dollars to confirm that yes, the body is indeed round.

The Pallas's Cat looks like a wise old creature that lives in the mountains and will give you a magical key if you found where it lives.

This handsome fellow is the Saiga Antelope and they were thrown under the bus by Rhino conservationists. In 1993, there was over a million of them roaming central asia, so the WWF decided to sell china on using Saiga horn instead of rhino. Only the males have horns, so by the time the 2000s rolled around, the million strong population was down to 30,000. They were utterly decimated as a species on a scale we haven't seen in a long time, but nobody cares as they're not photogenic.

The Shoebill Stork. He looks like he came from a Dark Crystal movie or something.
