These two had one of my favorite series of matches ever between 94-96. But which one was the best one?

On a side note, I recently rewatched the In Your House steel cage match. Nash said in a shoot interview that Bret did want to take the jackknife, although Bret was still going over in that match. Both Nash and Taker were hot about that because the match was to set up their fued, since Bret was already penciled for Mania with Shawn. So just before Undertaker is to pull Diesel from under the ring, Diesel gives Bret a nutshot. Damn it would have looked so much cooler had they gone with the jackknife then the Undertaker interference.

Royal Rumble 1995. I love the psychology in that match. Very believable. Also, Diesel's entrance here is just bad ass.

Survivor Series. Perhaps WWF's all time best table spot.

Gotta be Survivor Series. A bright spot in an awful year.

Honestly, I think I like their in-ring chemistry more than Bret and Shawn's.

I would say the Survivor Series one. I liked the storyline going in better and it’s a fantastic brawl and creative finish. I think the Royal Rumble match might actually be a better match, but the finish kinda ruins it. I like how Bret heels it up a bit and there’s a real story of the savvy former champ vs rookie new champ. Diesel resorts back to some of his heeling ways too as the match goes on to counter Bret’s tactics. It’s really a great match. But they booked themselves into a corner by going with that match so quickly that they had to do an extremely BS finish.
The King of the Ring and In Your House matches are good too. Bret and Nash had amazing chemistry. Bret had better matches with Nash than he had with Shawn.

Survivor Series 95 for me. It's the only one that had a clean finish.
Did Nash and Bret ever work together in WCW? Knowing WCW they probably did a 4 minute throw away match on an episode of Thunder.

His final WCW match was against Nash, actually, a world title match on Nitro that had Arn Anderson and Sid run interference. He relinquished the title soon after when he finally admitted to himself he was seriously hurt.

Bret's wrestling in a shirt, it's a fake turn making out that nwo 2000 has fallen apart but no they were in cahoots all along blah blah Russo crap, he's clearly not doing well physically. It's quite a sad watch knowing it's the end.

I thought he did the one hardcore match against Terry Funk on Nitro or Thunder and that was it? That's what I thought I heard from the WWE documentaries anyway. And, yes I know WWE documentaries are complete revisionist history.

Bret also had a rematch against Goldberg the night after Starrcade where he turns heel and reforms the nWo and also faces Chris Benoit on Thunder later that week.

Survivor Series by a mile. Probably the best match of Nash's career to boot

I can see why they wouldn't bother to mention this, though, given it was a BS no contest ending so typical of that era of WCW.
