With all the part time matches he’s had in the last decade what do you think should of been his last? I think he should of capped everything off at Mania 33 with Seth beating him with his own move. Batista could of had Cena retire him or have a double retirement Match with Angle

WM35 was fine given Batista/HHH's history. Ideally, it would've been putting over someone like Bron, but he did pretty good at having big matches with important modern stars.

Orton, Rollins, KO, Adam Cole, all would’ve been good choices off the top of my head

I want to say the Seth match, but we wouldn't have gotten the mixed tag the next year. So I'll go with the Batista match.

Other: we’ve been denied the dream match of HHH versus The Broomstick.

None of them. He deserved a storyline, or a hint that he’s be wrestling his last match. Don’t like the hindsight game in this case.

"The End of an Era" Hell in a Cell Match from WM28. Seeing Taker, HHH, and HBK standing on the entrance stage post match will always be ingrained my head, and would've been a fitting end to both Hunter and Taker's in-ring career. No matter the outcome, they're all winners.

If it were Trips' last match ever I'd want it to be against someone he never wrestled before like AJ or Adam Cole. Someone who'd really benefit from beating him in his last match.

Trips vs AJ would of been a dope AF fued. It would need AJ as the face and HHH as the heel though. Trips would talk down on AJ for not even being the top guy in a second rate company like TNA and taking so long to get to wwe

Both of those could have been fantastic feud wise. I'm not sure how well HHH would mesh with Cole's in ring style but the promos back and forth would be fire.

Ideally it should have been one final match on a Takeover putting over one of his NXT projects.

We'll never get this now, but it would've been interesting to see him retire by putting over one of his nxt guys. Pete Dunne? The game vs butch.

Heyman kidnaps Stephanie and has HHH wrestle the Usos for some reason. If HHH doesn't take the beating, Stephanie is locked in a plastic thing that fills up with liquid cement controlled by Heyman. HHH eventually defeats the bad guys, but for whatever reason, he fills the thing full of cement with her in it.

I'd say Taker's HIAC Match, but then we don't get some epic matches and moments he had later on
I voted Batista. Both men end their careers on the same night, and I was a sucker for the Mania 21 match. That would've been a nice end to the chapter

Summerslam 2012. After that Mania 28 match, Brock retiring him would've been great.
H proceeds to run NXT a little earlier.

I'd say the Batista match. It wasn't good but at least that was the whole story of it and he didn't really do anything of note afterward anyway.
