This is the sort of thing where you now have to add WAY more guidelines for the NXT vetting policy. Like, for example, “Don’t use Twitter”. FTFY Jesus f***ing christ There isn't much to add here other than this dude needs to be gone yesterday, and congratulations on destroying your career in record time Between this and Jake Atlas it has not been the greatest year for LGBTQ+ reps in wrestling, as others already said, can they please stop fumbling the bag immensely? At least there's Nyla Rose and Anthony Bowens to balance it out.

Holy s*** this is surreal
Transphobia, racism, keeping a burner account just to talk s*** about your co-workers to underage people (I think they're underage? Excuse my misunderstanding of the situation otherwise)
Like what the actual f*** at those screenshots, it's gross to a point of absurdity

And let's just talk about the fact that they admitted to being transphobic while chastising the woman for being "fatphobic", which, as a fat person, I can pretty safely say is NOT EVEN ON THE SAME f***ING LEVEL. JESUS CHRIST ON TUESDAYS

JESUS CHRIST ON TUESDAYS not only that, but one doesn't make the other okay I felt like that went without saying, tbh. Plus, I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've heard the word "fatphobic". Almost like they're making shit up to justify their own stance. Imagine that.

Using Twitter as an idea isn’t a bad idea but there’s a reason Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson only tweet every so often and Timothy Thatcher only had one because WWE told him to have one. The first lesson at the PC should be “Do this!” and point to those (obviously scribbling out the names and putting Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan)

Like, I've resigned myself to the fact that most of the men and women we see on our screens weekly are not the best people. But the difference between now and say, the Attitude Era, is that we now see, in real-time, the downfall of them. Imagine if Twitter had existed in 1998/1999? Guys like Road Dogg, Val Venis, Bradshaw, Goldust (90's/00's Goldust, not the smartened-up and cleaned-up version we currently know), Bob Holly and others would've tanked their careers before they even got started. EDIT: Hell, forget the Attitude Era. If Twitter and the internet as we know it today existed in the 80s, would wrestling even still exist today??

I mean, again, this is why you teach people how to use it and not let them do it. If you’re going to have people take over social media, you might as well just not have anyone have accounts and have it all go through WWE’s main Twitter because I wouldn’t be able to pay anyone enough to do that for every person on the roster.

Nah, because back then the crazier and more offensive thing that you said got a bigger pop. Nowadays people realized that it's not okay, but in the 90s it was the wild west. Look at what was on TV, movies, on WWE shows, and music back then. Twitter would have been insane if it existed. I mean I think that Eminem and DMX are great but go listen to some of their songs from back then. lol Most wrestlers are fine to use Twitter, but some of them are way too dumb to be trusted with it.

Honestly I don’t think it’s too much to expect adults to have some level of responsibility. If they can’t filter themselves on social media then they face the consequences - straight up banning them from using it in the first place is not really the answer here.

You'd think people would have the common sense not to have a total and complete mask off meltdown on the site and in spaces where everyone including your bosses can see you, but... well here we are Sometimes people are going through shit mentally and either don't care or are compromised, but even if in the realm of possibility that's what happened here, he still meant everything he said and the receipts are f***ing nasty and an accumulation of shit from over time, he's just not worth the headache.

I also feel like we need to stop acting like social media sites are the cause of these things because, regardless of what we think, they’re only platforms for these things rather than the biggest factor. Hardcore Holly would still have been a dick for his WWE career regardless of if he had a Twitter account in 2001 or not and Quincy seemed like a guy who’d still have these dumbass urges and hateful attitude if he didn’t have a Twitter account, he’d just get it out in a different way like the locker room or on a night out or whatever and we’d be finding it out on a badly directed shoot interview years later.

Wouldn’t mind dude being gone. He just has a look like anyone could become a wrestler in WWE.

Uggggh, this sucks. The gimmick was fun while it lasted, I guess.
Transphobic gay men can really go f**k right off. Absolute stain on our community.
