I'm glad you started this thread as I've been re-watching every episode of RAW and Superstars from January 1993 and I'm just one week away from WrestleMania! I've been thinking about this subject a LOT. Not used: 'Terrific' Terry Taylor. You're is a real solid card. Almost everyone has a spot and it makes sense. I think the thing about Wrestlemania this year and the previous year is, WWF either let guys go or they left on their own after Royal Rumble, while most years they let guys go or they left AFTER wrestlemania. So I think those two years suffered with lack of guys though most weren't exactly big losses since they had been on the losing end of matches for months.

The guy that I still feel a little heart-broken about is Big Boss Man. He was still over like rover and one of their most marketable stars. They gave him the win over Nailz in their blow-off, despite seeming to have big plans for Nailz. Then as soon as 93 rolled around he just put over Bam Bam and Doink and then vanished.

IC Title: Shawn Michaels over Typhoon (logic here is that we want Shawn to win and there's nobody higher up you can have him beating clean. And beating a big guy gives him credibility as an upper-level main event player) That's why I would have had Beefcake face Shawn. Beefcake was a strong enough upper level guy with credibility that Shawn could have beating clean. Plus there could have been the Backstory of Beefcake chasing the IC belt because he never got his title shot at SummerSlam 90 due to the boating accident.

If you're going to go with that story, you might as well have him finally win the belt. He can lose it back to Shawn shortly after.

Which I why I didn't do that lol I wouldn't want Shawn losing the title here, so it's better to have Typhoon do the J.O.B.

if Hogan has to be there this is what I came up with
WWF Championship Bret Hart vs Lex Luger – winner Bret via submission
Razor Ramon vs Randy Savage-- winner Razor clean
WWF Tag Team Championship Money Inc. vs The Bushwackers – Money Inc. retains
Intercontinental Championship Shawn Michaels vs Tatanka - Tatanka wins the belt
Ric Flair vs Mr. Perfect loser leaves WWF – Mr. Perfect wins
Crush vs Doink the Clown (nothing changes)
Undertaker vs Yokozuna – Taker wins
Hulk Hogan vs Giant Gonzales – Hogan wins via pinfall
The Headshrinkers vs The Steiner Brothers – Steiner Brothers win
Papa Shango vs Tito Santana – winner Papa Shango

KEEP - Steiners v Headshrinkers, pretty much perfect as it is.
WWF Championship - Bret Hart (c) v Randy Savage, Bret retains, Macho Man wanted to put him over, changing the Rumble to give him his one last shot. I'd have him trying not to give into temptation but getting heeler and heeler in the build, and cheating during the match once or twice (but conflicted) only to lose clean and then do a handshake. Savage's main event last hurrah before he gets jumped by Yokozuna on RAW in a week or two... (22)
IC title - Shawn Michaels (c) vs Marty Jannetty - Jannetty was rehired by Mania time after his Rumble relapse so in this timeline I'd just keep the feud running till Mania instead of having the big match at the Rumble. Jannetty ought to win but may not be trustworthy enough to win. (14)
Tag titles - Money Inc (c) vs Hulk Hogan and Bob Backlund - Sans anywhere else to put them, and a lack of contenders. The fever dream of Warrior not getting fired and someone trying not to put the titles on Warrior/Hogan amuses. Nasty Boys were pretty much gone. Bob probably deserved a spot on the card, its a nice "legends" vs heels, and Backlund can job. (12)
Undertaker v Razor Ramon - Yeah, no Giant Gonzalez. Razor was in limbo land (he took on Bob Backlund in a nothing match) and Hall/Taker could be a pretty damn good sprint 10 minute match. Obviously Taker has to win. (10)
Bam Bam Bigelow v Owen Hart - Pre-heel turn, the way people got at Bret was to take out baby brother. Bigelow was due to tangle with the Hitman that summer (one of Hart's favourite opponents in fact) so have Bigelow pin Owen in a solid 8-9 minute sprint. They actually had one on tour around this time and it was as great as you'd expect. (8)
Yokozuna v Tatanka - Undefeated monster vs undefeated streak. And I'd have Tatanka put up a spirited fight but Yokozuna crushes him at the end of the match to end the streak. In real life, the streak went until summer and was lost on TV to Ludvig fn Borga, and messed up King of the Ring booking. Here, let's end the story on a huge stage to put over the new guy who is going to win the WWF title shortly. (5)
So that's 7 matches, and we have Tito Santana, Rick Martel, Mr Perfect, Lex Luger, Jerry Lawler, Doink, Crush not yet booked, of the people who could be booked. Going by Mania 9 I have about 15 minutes of ring time left too, but then, the main event ended 5 minutes early according to Bret, so let's just re-add that.
Mr Perfect v Lex Luger - I'd make it sprintier, 7 mins rather than the 11 they got in real life. Luger wins. Playing by the rules that we can't just bring back Flair here.
This gives me about 10-12 mins, so I'll add a tag match to get the rest on. Doink/Rick Martel/Jerry Lawler/Papa Shango vs Tito Santana/Nasty Boys/Hacksaw - We get the decent folk left on the card, we play on the Nastys being on the previous side, as Tito leaves we have one more Tito/Martel showdown, and... when the bad guys win, due to Multiple Doinks, the Doinks and their team are doing a number on Hacksaw and Tito (the Nastys can be down and out on the outside of the ring) when Crush storms the ring, his big comeback from injury and clears house to save the good guys. So we get Doink's steam to keep going but don't job out Face Crush too early. (8)
Didn't even use those 5 minutes, so Bret and Randy can have them if they need them to tell their story.
NOT USED - Brooklyn Brawler, Jim Powers, Koko B Ware, Virgil, Bushwhackers, Typhoon,Jacques Rougeau, Beverlys, Papa Shango, Skinner, Terry Taylor, Damian Demento, Giant Gonzalez, Brutus Beefcake, Men on a Mission
