I've heard Ronda and Charlotte is going to, but who knows. They change things a lot.

I'm figuring Charlotte / Ronda. I thought they announced that it was already... They did not. There was a rumor from the reddit insider posted a couple of weeks ago that Austin/Owens was scheduled to go on last and he reconfirmed that last night.

It's Austin man. That has to end the first night and it's a good way of differentiating the days. One night ends in a random brawl, the other ends in a match. It's perfect.

Considering the prospect of Stone Cold's first match in 19 years is more a "when" rather than an "if", him and Owens are ending Night One. I get the whole Charlotte thing but I'm also thinking about publicity wise, them being able to say to the media he headlined a show again. What is driving me nuts is their reluctance to state that it is a match or frame it as anything more than a wave and a stunner. I do not see us getting anything more than the usual segment that breaks down into a light kurfuffle, unfortunately.

Honestly, with the amount of hints from people, I’m 99% sure Austin calls for a ref and they have a short match. I could be wrong but they seem to be doing everything except confirming it. Now, I agree they should just say that but this is what their plan is, I think.

If the Austin thing IS a match it’s hard to argue it shouldn’t close a night.
Especially with how bad the Charlotte Ronda feud has been.

Imagine trying to have Charlotte/Ronda AFTER Stone Cold match/fight/whatever. Crowd would be dead as shit.

McMahon did say twice that Seth would have his own "main event." Main event usually implies last match on the card, but I understand is not always the case. Since this was a pretape, "main event" would have been edited out if it were a gaffe. In WWE, "main event" doesn't mean "last match". It means "match of importance"

Here's how I would format WrestleMania Saturday.
1. Becky vs. Bianca - The show needs to start with a hot, fast-paced opener and these two will deliver. 2. New Day vs. Sheamus & Holland - When the show starts with a hot opener, it's typically followed by a cool-down/popcorn match. This match seems to be thrown out there just to get New Day and Sheamus on the show, so might as well stick it here. 3. McIntyre vs. Corbin - This match should go early but not too early. I see this as your typical cat and mouse chase to start with Corbin getting a few offensive shots. I don't see it lasting very long before McIntyre goes in for the kill. 4. Nak & Boogs vs. the Usos - only because the tag matches need to be spaced out 5. Charlotte vs. Ronda - needs to be spaced out between the other women's title match 6. Mysterios vs. Miz & Paul - Charlotte and Ronda will go the distance with a wrestling clinic, so there needs to be a cool down match to follow. I see this match having some comic relief spots with the feel good moment of father and son getting their hands raised on the grandest stage. Maybe after the match, Paul turns on Miz for an added crowd pop. 7. The KO Show with Austin. This is where it should be placed if it's only going to be a segment and not an actual match. We will obviously see some brawling, with Owens getting the stunner and the typical Austin shtick with Austin chugging his beers after he disposes of his victim. 8. Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes - The crowd will still be hot after the Austin segment, but not completely drained like Orton/Triple H after HBK/Taker. If Austin does not have an actual match on Saturday, then Seth vs. Cody is still the most anticipated match going into the show IMO.

If it’s gonna be a match, it’s gotta be Austin.

I think it should be Austin/Owens as Ronda/Charlotte's feud is ice cold right now.

I don’t think anything can follow Austin in Texas.
I’d start with Rollins/Cody. Becky/Bianca as the “mid-show main event” like Taker/HHH at 28. Charlotte/Ronda as the final proper match. Then close the show with whatever Austin/Owens is.

If it’s gonna be a match, it’s gotta be Austin. Another thing to consider is that even if it's a match, Austin is 57. We won't get attitude era level ring quality from Austin. Can he still perform at a level that's suitable for main eventing wrestlemania?

I actually think to ENSURE the crowd goes happy, it should be Owens and Stone Cold The last match I feel is gonna be Ronda/Charlotte, it's such a weak as shit first night all around, but it feels like that's the main, and if it is... godspeed because I just don't see how it goes well... I'm not looking forward to it but I think as a match it will be fine. They had a good match a few years ago and they'll probably rehearse the hell out of it. When you have a long rehearsed match with tons of finisher kick outs it's hard for it to be a disaster.

Ronda Rousey won the Rumble, and while it isn't a guarantee the Rumble winners main event, I'd say Charlotte/Ronda would be the one to main event.
