It's like a weird TV event. As far as I can tell, for April Fools Reddit is doing this event this year with the last one being on 2017. For four days, they have this giant pixel art mural where people are free to make edits.

The whole things feel wild.
Like, having the basics explained to me, it's a pixel art mural. A user can add a single pixel of color to the pixel canvas every few minutes or so. Considering the size of the canvas, and it seems to expand every 24 hours, it's pretty much a group effort. So far it's 2000x1000 pixels big.
And of course, you can't stop vandalism. Some groups are content to stay in their own space and develop their bit of art. And there would be some who'd try to overwhelm some other space or just vandalize things. Some alliances have been formed. Apparently it's pretty big on Twitch.
Still around two days left, and the canvas I think will at least expand one more time.

Just giving the mural a glance, lots of flags. Anime stuff. Saw some art of Cave Story. Haven't seen anything wrestling related yet. A relatively big Star Wars pixel art. The Canadian flag is apparently struggling with keeping their maple leaf. VTuber company hololive is apparently allied with next door neighbor the Belgium flag. The very bottom right seems to be a mess of blue.
Of course, there's some political stuff, but we won't be talking about that for obvious reasons.

Trying to get in on it but one thing that's rapidly growing extremely annoying, both for my attempted contributions and those I'm seeing of other people, is some people who just immediately revert any changes anyone makes. Like, the point is to continually add to it, not keep it exactly as it is, assholes.

I suppose a lot of groups are getting twitchy about perceived vandalism. Seems like a nightmare to maintain anything unless you're coordinating with a group and any next door neighbors you're allied to.

Seems like a nightmare to maintain anything unless you're coordinating with a group and any next door neighbors you're allied to. A lot of them are people who signed up today. Feels like some bizarre sabotage by way of not allowing anyone to actually do anything. Saw other people in the collaboration thread complaining about it.

So far, two spots to be VTuber related. Under the Belgian flag is hololive and Nijisanji and VShoujo. There's another that's mostly hololive, but there's a picture of VShoujo's Ironmouse for helping rally the VTuber fandoms to defend each other.

As an Eagles fan I love that Philly! Philly! was on there. Big Dick Nick would be proud

There's some real tomfoolery going on with it in regards to those in charge/mods/whatever you wanna call them. Letting certain groups avoid all the timers/rules and restricting others. And it's not for "reasonable" moderation reasons like "Yeah we don't need a giant nazi flag".
But if you ever wanted to see a cartoon penis taking dump(yes it's exactly what I said), you can find it there.
