That was awesome.
The ovation. Leaving his boots in the ring. Doing the Vince at Wrestlemania 3 “welcome to Wrestlemania!!!” bit. It was so good to see him looking healthy and seemingly at peace with the fact he's not going to wrestle again.
As far as in-ring segments to open Mania go I’d put it up there with Rock, Austin and Hogan at 30.

Despite what people think of him over the years, he deserved to have a Wrestlemania sendoff and I'm glad that he was able to get it.

I can’t really see much at all to complain about with it.
His music did go long but dude is a legend. He didn’t even have a long promo. He deserves his flowers.

If ever there's a time to have a moment even if it's a tiny bit self-indulgent, it's after having a terrifying run-in with your own mortality. You can come back healthy and bask in the praise a little bit after a scare like that, as a treat.

I know I was being overly mother hen at one point when he was on the ropes and did his water spit pose and was going all RARRGGHHHHHHHHHH at the camera, and I was thinking, "now sweetie, dial it back a bit that can't be good for you..."

He deserved it. People aren't crazy about the reign of terror and I get that, but he's a generational talent and didn't get to go out on his terms. My guess is he's going to headline the Hall of Fame for WrestleMania 40 (also it's insane that we're that close to 40) because I'm assuming it'll be an east coast show - if not two nights at MSG, then two nights at MetLife.

Dude deserved it.
I was so happy seeing HHH out and about in the WWE landscape again. Then to cap it off with a moment like that. Good shit.

He absolutely deserved it and I’m glad he got to do it last night and it meant something. Btw, is that the first time his kids have been at ringside ? I assumed that’s who it was.

It sucks what happened, but I'm glad he at least appears to be at peace with his retirement.
