This dudes just living a goddamn blessed life, isn’t he? Played in the NFL and even as a Punter he was notable and made some good money Then gets WWE gigs every now and again to talk shit on the pre show. Then he actually gets involved with the show in NXT. Then he gets the bag from his podcasting gig and donates to charity and now he lived the dream with being on WWE every week, had a Mania match and got a Stone Cold stunner

I didn't see the match, but everything I see out of Pat consistently seems to defy every first-glance expectation of the guy, and his passion for wrestling is just impossible to deny. Given that he's somehow got Michael Cole to love his job again, clearly the dude just has a magic to him in real life, too. I'm happy he's living the dream. I seriously haven't heard Michael Cole get that hyped for someone on commentary since him and Miz were bros. Dude literally called Austin Theory a punk ass. Happy excited Michael Cole warms my heart.

Dude showed out for sure. He could do it full-time and be a top star easily. The Vince stuff was weird, but I just think they needed to do more than like two outside interference spots and a Homer Simpson-approved football in the groin to get to where they wanted to go. Dude was in WarGames, for goodness sakes. ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png)

I didn't mind it cause Austin coming out would have still been crazy if Vince had just been vomitting in the ring for 3 minutes but I wish they had Austin come out on the ATV to save Pat. That would have been cool as f***.

I can't believe Pat McAfee murdered Michael Cole's son in NXT and became his new son instead

It wasn't necessary, exactly, since Austin could have just come out when Vince got in the ring with Pat, but I'm honestly fine with the match. Pat just wrestled a match, Vince springing another match on him. That's plenty protection for someone who isn't even a regular competitor and is unlikely to become one. No one's going to remember "Vince pinned him" if they dust him off again, anyway. It's wholly irrelevant, especially when it was all just to set up Austin stunning Vince. Extremely poorly, but I get Vince's body is buff, but busted.

Him getting bitched out by an 80 year old Vince was terrible.
They always talk about "exposing the business"... How does that not? LOL

One of the MVP’s of the night. Excellent performance in the match, took a great stunner and then the beer drinking after!
Also is that Vince’s first Wrestlemania win?

Sometimes wrestling just has to be fun and not so serious, and this was all perfect. He's just so easy to root for.
Credit to Austin Theory too, who played his role perfectly.

The Vince stuff was complete nonsense but Pat can easily dismiss it as, “hey look, that’s my boss, he’s nearly 80. It’s Vince f***ing McMahon. What did you guys expect me to do? Kill him?? I let him potato me until he decided to pin me. I had my match and won. My boss came in to assert dominance and I let him so I could keep my job. For the brand.”

I tip my cap to him. He had a great NFL career, but I could absolutely buy him as a full time Wrestler in another timeline. He just "gets" what wrestling is supposed to be.

Pat was awesome. I had no idea who the dude was when he first came in and I missed much of his stuff with Adam Cole in NXT, but over the past few months, the dude has won me over. His enthusiasm, his commentary and how he just gets wrestling is just infectious. And of course, this magical moment
