I wonder if we will ever get any. Not about Harry and his friends, as their story has been told, but about other people from their world. Rowling has created a large universe, ripe for countless stories.
I would welcome a Dudley movie, in which he gets married and has magic children. They could use it to redeem Petunia too, giving her a new perspective as the grandmother of wizards.
But I have a feeling Hollywood will continue to give us the Young Dumbledore Chronicles and the origin stories of his rogues gallery.

Given how awful those Fantastic Beasts movies are, I doubt it.

I have an idea.
Make a romcom movie, you know the usual. Boy meets girl. Just two muggles finding each other and wacky situations between them happen. And on the background you can see unnoticed by the actors a wizard war going on. Avada kedavras flying through the air, two wizards fighting on one broomstick, Voldemorts head preserved in a jar barking out orders and the muggles don't notice while they go through relationship difficulties.

Given JK Rowling's current crusade, I doubt it.

The fact that they changed the name of the franchise to The Wizarding World indicates that they want to go broader than just Harry & Co. Logically something focusing on the new generation would make sense, but if it resembles anything like Boruto, that could become “been there, seen that” pretty fast.
A prequel series I would like to see is about the founders of Hogwarts, and Salazar Slytherin’s descent into pure-blood obsession and his alienation from the other three.

JKR seems more concerned with demonizing trans women than anything else these days.

Given how awful those Fantastic Beasts movies are, I doubt it. IGN hated the new one and those guys are usually some of the most generous reviewers around

Nah, the person who made Harry Potter work came out as a huge sack of crap, so it'd be better if we all started moving on from giving money to that massive garbage heap.

Wait until the Witch is dead, and then we can talk about it.

Oh they’ll be milking that IP long after we’re gone.

If you've ever read any excerpts of JK's awful crime novels written under the conversion therapy psuedonym, to say nothing of her twitter feed, it's plain to see how horribly out of touch she is with the modern world. Maybe she thinks at least she can mask it a little better in the 1930s.

The Goblet of Fire is an awesome film, it’s too bad that JK Rowling sucks a drunk toad’s hairy ass.

Whatever valid concerns she initially raised have now been buried under what can often occur on social media, when people start getting praise and attention from extremists and then begin tailoring subsequent posts to appeal to them. It'll be interesting to see whether this whole thing affects the success of this new movie or not.

It'll be interesting to see whether this whole thing affects the success of this new movie or not. There weren't any. There were. But they were tenuous at best. Once she started posting links to online stores with virulently bigoted merchandise, she was gone. It's just continued to get worse.

I think too many of the natural avenues have been closed off. The mauraders era should be amazing but the timescales make it difficult to add anything we don't know or is better imagined, there's a book Vs movie age issue too. A quidditch sports movie is a non-starter due to the stupid rules. Many things written from the epilogue onwards cause problems.
Which is a long way of saying start again in one of the other schools in a different country, although even some of those would be tricky (ie one school for entire continents).

The movie Predator but Dutch's team is a group of Wizards trying to take down a present day Mexican Cartel and the Predator is a alien muggle hunter who starts to hunt the team because they are getting in his way and he likes the extra challenge of getting Wizard Trophies.

Quiet as it's kept, even if Joanne wasn't an absolutely repulsive human being, I don't think there's nearly as much meat on those bones as her or Warner Bros wants us to believe. She simply didn't build a universe that interesting outside of it's core characters, to the point that the erroneously named "Fantastic Beasts" series became The Adventures of Young Dumbledore almost immediately.
There simply isn't much of a greater universe to explore within the IP, because JK Rowling couldn't create one, because she isn't a very good writer.

It show you how Eurocentric JKR's world-building was. Like there's 3 (maybe 4) great schools in Europe and so far, one each for the entirety of Africa, North America, and South America.

Let's all not forget that the post-books world building she provides is usually really dumb. See: Wizards shitting themselves and then magicking the waste away before plumbing was invented.
