WrestleMania is just a big event and a big phenomenon. Wrestling companies all over the world host shows in the Mania city to get fans to attend. It's built a legacy over 38 years that no matter how bad the product is or has been, it'll draw people to say they've been to WrestleMania.
AEW doesn't have that PPV yet. I'd argue their shows in the last year rival, or are better than, any WrestleMania I've seen since WrestleMania 31.
Working against AEW isn't the matches or the names. They have both. The issue is they're relatively new. The company is 3 years old and hasn't built that BIG EVENT. All four of their PPVs are pretty equal, which is what they wanted.
I'd love to see in the next 10 years, AEW host a show in a stadium to see if it drew numbers. Maybe that's All Out at the Jaguars stadium. If they got 40-50,000 that would be a success.

Somewhere between 30000-40000 i'd say at the moment. It really depends i think on how much they can get from an international audience like how the WWE gets for mania. Do what they've been doing with having a week of shows and if they can get something like a Wrestlecon or Starrcast or even plan their own con and fan events. Find ways to get the international audience to find value in travelling to it. Once people feel more comfortable travelling of course.
I say this as someone who lives outside the US who really wants to go to an AEW show but considering most of their big shows sell out fairly quickly and also to spend that kind of money to travel it has to be worth my while.

There's a reason why Craven Cottage is banded around all of the time as the best UK venue for AEW and it's not just because it's Fulham's ground and the Khan's own it. It seats around 25k for football, and I could easily see AEW filling that for a PPV with a good card. It'd look spectacular as a wrestling venue, too. I love this idea, and would love for them to do similar in the States. One of the MLS stadiums in a major market would be perfect for DoN or All Out. Yeah, I'm kind of shocked I don't hear about more companies, concerts, and other sporting events trying to use Red Bulls Stadium in Harrison, NJ for stuff: it's a 25,000 seater (for soccer, it could probably be configured closer to 30,000 for other events) right outside Newark with a PATH train stop next door, so it's easily accessible for most people in NYC or someone riding up from Philly and transferring at Newark Penn. If you run it for some other kind of event you can have a large-scale outdoor venue without the pressure of trying to fill 40,000-60,000 seats at one of the baseball stadiums or 80,000 at MetLife Stadium. I guess running at nearby Prudential Center and having more like 18,000 people makes it feel unnecessary, but still, feels like a prime outdoor venue.

I haven't looked for the thread, but I brought up Red Bulls stadium a few years back, I think when it was first rumored that WWE wanted Summerslam to be a stadium event but there were doubts whether they could pull it off. After the Arthur Ashe show, and other smaller ones, it's clear that AEW loves the atmosphere of buildings, rather than just trying to make all the arenas look the same. With the easy accessibility you mentioned, that would be a prime candidate. I just wonder if the rent is too high with not that many more seats to justify it than the Prudential Center has.

Their first time in the Toronto market could pop a really big number. BMO field has a capacity of around 40k, and while I don’t think AEW could do that, 30k+ is definitely possible. As someone mentioned earlier, the idea of booking the stadium itself draws in these scenarios now. I think with that, and maybe one major match (Danielson vs Punk?) announced a few months ahead of time, AEW could max out around 40-45k right now.

I don't think so, but maybe a place like the Tokyo Dome (55,000) with the right card.
Even then, it might not sell out, just be a good number.
