as much as I've enjoyed watching taker wrestle over the years, he should have stopped wrestling three or four years before he retired. the quality of his matches dropped drastically which fed into taker trying to have that one perfect final match. Last great in ring matches were with Brock in 2015.

He should of faced Cena instead of Roman at Mania 33. They probably would of had a much better match and having a second loss at Mania would of been the perfect way to go out

Taker provided me with decades of entertainment.
He's done now and needs to stay done.
I would much rather he becomes a cranky old man ex-wrestler with dated views who gets to see his family grow up, over another person who returns to the ring and it f***s over their long term health.
He's done. It's over.

Taker has been one of my favorite wrestlers since I was like 10.
I have gotten countless hours of entertainment out of him...
I never need to see him wrestle again.
Maybe he could do some kind've cinematic match again... but I think the time for that has passed since there is no way people are going to want to watch matches on the screen in the arena.
maybe he could pop out and chokeslam someone... for a crowd pop at Legends night...
but other than no... dude needs to stay retired his body is shot to hell and it's only ever going to get worse/

His WM 28 match against HHH was his last great match , although WM 29 against Punk was pretty decent. he should have stopped then .

Taker is one of my all time favourites.
But no.

He could get a couple of years as the original Undertaker - an unfeeling monster that rarely bumps and just chokes out opponents followed by a tombstone.

He could get a couple of years as the original Undertaker - an unfeeling monster that rarely bumps and just chokes out opponents followed by a tombstone. His knees are wrecked, he isn't going to be performing the move that caused that on a regular basis. He's said in interviews he needs both his knees replaced so his tombstoning days at done. Original Taker only worked because he was fast and agile, present day Taker is neither.

So far, the votes are 7 for yes, 13 for no and 76 for f*** no.
I knew this was a bad idea, but a part of me wanted The Undertaker to come back for one last run. But not any longer, seeing his broken down undead body out there would be just awful.

The guy was around for 30 years. You don’t need “one last run” when your run was three decades long.

He's had two hip replacements and his knees have got the structural integrity of a pyramid made of day-old popcorn. At this point the time it used to take him to complete his entrance is probably now way too fast for him.

Hell no!
He's proven all that he has to prove. Besides, I hate his takes on today's wrestling and think he should just stay home and shake his fist angrily at AEW programming.

No, for the love of god, no.
He’s one of my favorites of all time. But what else does he need to do? Hell, he finally had a good last match, while it was cinematic, that match with AJ was a very good and was a good last match to have.

The fact OP's question isn't even one more match but one more run instills a deep fear inside of me

Let the Deadman finally...
Rest in Peace.
And obviously it would've been cool to have him face Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, or Drew McIntyre. But we'll just have to let those be dream matches. I'm okay with his final match being *literally* riding into the sunset against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.

Sure, with smaller guys, and with an overall plan on putting someone over in a major way. That Taker/AJ match originally scheduled probably would've been awesome judging by how Taker as moving training for it.
