Who are guys that were at the same roster as certain stars with matches they didn’t get that would be considered good matches or big time matches? I think Eddie wins this. When he was in wcw from 95-2000, he was on the same roster as Hogan, Macho Man, Lex Luger, Sting, Bret Hart, Arn Anderson, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and probably other that I’m missing but he never had one on ones with any of them. And in wwf he never faced Taker or HBK (though I’m sure both those matches would of Happened had he not passed)

Wasn't Eddie part of a four way match with him, Taker, JBL and Booker T?

If they knew they only had Goldberg for one year in 03-04 they should have got more out of him. They could have made him a free agent like they did with Cena years later, so that we didn't miss out on so many matches with him against Smackdown guys.
Goldberg v Angle (had potential to be Goldberg's greatest match ever) Goldberg v Benoit (see above) Goldberg v Eddie (Eddie lying, cheating and stealing trying to avoid the spear) Goldberg v Cena (Thuganomics Cena talking trash then getting destroyed would've been fun) Goldberg v Rhyno (spear v gore) Goldberg v Mysterio (would be a squash but just to see Rey sell the spear) Goldberg v Rikishi (just for the visual of that jackhammer)
I won't list Goldberg v Austin seeing as Austin retired immediately after Goldberg came in so there's not a lot they could do about that one.
Goldberg v HBK did happen but it was a short TV match with a DQ finish when it should have been the WWE version of Goldberg/DDP at Halloween Havoc.
Goldberg v Undertaker happened years later too but it would obviously have been better during his first run.

I had this thread about that issue with Bret Hart during his WCW run: officialfan.proboards.com/thread/613700/bret-hart-opponents-wcwAlso, I don’t know if you want to include it, but some part-time guys left a lot of matches on the table. Lesnar has been back for over 10 years now, but he’s only had over a dozen matches one time in all those years.

Dusty Rhodes never teaming with Hogan or facing Andre in his WWF run (he’d interacted with Andre a lot previously but that would obviously be the biggest stage they’d ever share)

Isn't Dolph Ziggler the poster boy of "stop-start" pushes? I mean he was a long-time stay for the WWE and has gotten over at various times, but it's like whenever he gets momentum going, something is always in the way to halt it, wheather it's because of WWE booking or circumstances outside their control(like injuries).
