I recently watched Capital Carnage on Peacock and I am watching No Mercy (the UK PPV) at the moment. The one thing that I have noticed is that in some instances, there is a horn honking and the crowd yells out something. I noticed the same thing when I watched Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog at Summerslam 1992 (I know I need to check out that event in full), when there was a horn honking and the crowd yells out something. Is this a common thing at sporting events like football games (or as we call them here, soccer games)?

I'm guessing it was this tune. m.youtube.com/watch?v=uxCIEHABB1MIt's a common chant in football and other sports with the "let's go" replaced with something else, usually the club name. Airhorns are rarer these days and banned from most stadiums but clapping, drums or anything else can be used instead.

You still get airhorns sometimes, but that was quite a 90s trend. Drumming is much more common.

I've often wondered how people in attendance/watching that lived there took the "Pakinstani Extraction" line that even back in the day had me going "what the f***?"

“It’s gonna be EMOTIONAL!”
That’s my takeaway from Capital Carnage.

I've often wondered how people in attendance/watching that lived there took the "Pakinstani Extraction" line that even back in the day had me going "what the f***?" A really depressing indication of how much effort they put into researching how to get heat in places London is just down the road from Newcastle, but don't worry, we looked up the appropriate kind of xenophobia
