Yeah it was weird. All those people watching WrestleMania's of the past portable TVs in remote places. You're telling me that street food vendor was watching WrestleMania IX live on a portable TV with a bunny ears antenna in Japan!?

how much money did that TV repair place waste by broadcasting Wrestlemania on multiple TV's facing the windows?

how much money did that TV repair place waste by broadcasting Wrestlemania on multiple TV's facing the windows? Before or after the lawsuit? Public display of the PPV is very illegal without a distribution license. Vince would’ve had an open and shut case over that one

It makes complete perfect sense. Someday you'll see it my way.

Now that I think about it, was this the first time when the WWF went all out with their intros? I remember from the early-2000s onward, they started building up Wrestlemania as this big deal. All I could remember from the one from the previous years were video packages of how Wrestlemania started and then going over the main event program.

Right, when they called WrestleMania “a celebration of life”. And you thought simply calling it stupendous was pretentious.

The first one I remember with an actual video package was WrestleMania 12 but it was all about the Iron Man Match. WrestleMania XIV had a pretty epic intro. It juxtaposed the Attitude Era with the tradition of wrestling. And it was the first time they had acknowledged Hulk Hogan in a positive light in years. "These men who shun tradition are destined to become part of it." I remember even in the moment thinking that this was setting the stage for a magic night. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTZsL5fTtRw
