Leon Ruff was the North American champion….and then he got cut not that long after.
Didn’t even realize it until my co-worker brought it up.

Jack Swagger as US Champion in early 2012. And I was actually one the guys few fans and saw probably his only successful title defense when he beat Justin Gabriel at Elimination Chamber that year. Won it from Zack Ryder (who was selling injuries as that was during that period where Kane beat him up like 15 weeks in a row) and was used to transition it to Santino of all people. Just so forgettable. Roman as IC Champion sometime in late 2017 or early 2018. Someone brought this up in another thread and I had absolutely no recollection of it happening what so ever. Roman lost it to Miz at RAW 25, which was the last time Roman lost a feud.

Even "Undefined Champion" Alicia Fox? ![](https://www.wwe.com/f/styles/og_image/public/photo/image/2010/07/14935298.jpg) Me: "I wonder why Eve Torres never won the Divas title." *checks* Wait, she won it three times?! i always felt kinda bad for eve, with her background she could have used that to become a tapout machine which the divas era didn't really have much of which would have stood out more. she was athletic as well (despite the infamous awkward dance gif) but always seemed like she had to tone everything down for her matches and never really settled on a finisher for a good part of her run.

This just reminded of that story of her choking out Matt Hardy when a round of playful wrestling escalated in a bar during an overseas tour.

R-Truth and Kofi Kingston were tag team champions at one point
So were Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne
Kofi's "WILDCAT" era is a blur and a half.

I mostly remember Bourne and Kofi for it being called "AIR BOOM" and them trying to sell it as a big thing. Didn't Bourne get hurt or something? I do remember it feeling like it got cut short.

He got hurt and I also think he got busted for marijuana very shortly after, so he got cut.

Not Marijuana the synthetic marijuana... since Marijuana wasn't part of the wellness policy outside of a fine... From what I remember, He got hit for the synthetic weed stuff... came back... got hit again... and in the middle of that destroyed his ankle right before he was about to come back.

His foot was mangled in a motorbike crash in March of 2012, it took him a year to come back and wrestled Sami Zayn at an NXT show almost a year later, then he was released in 2014 after never working another match for WWE.
It's astonishing that the dude managed to come back from that injury.

I don't know if I knew he had that match with Sami at any point.... I think I did because I Remember people saying that he tried a different style post injury but it wasn't working... But yeah, he like completely destroyed his ankle... the fact he's wrestling again and basically back to doing what he used to is pretty amazing yeah.

I forgot how long they kept Bourne on payroll despite him not being active at all. That's pretty crazy he was still under contract despite not doing anything other then that one match for two years. With him also getting wellnessed twice someone high up must've really liked him or saw a lot of potential in him to keep him employed all that time.

Could have been one of the instances of Vince being nice, due to just how bad his injury was.

I remember it was reported that Steph was a big fan of him. So he had Steph in his corner for a long time. It was obvious the company valued him. He was always doing something, on Raw and wrestling. Wasn't in the main event, but they always had him out there, they didn't stick him in catering.

Someone has to the have the picture of the graphic saying The Brian Kendrick was the current WWE Champion. It was in a scramble type match back in late 2000s or early 2010s...
