Have you ever seen a made-up sport in a show you were watching and thought, "Man, that looks so cool. If only it were real"?
What fictional sport do you wish were real? I'll start with the obvious: Quidditch.

BASEketball probably has the most real world potential, though you can't act like you're the guys who invented South Park, so there needs to be a happy medium, but it could be a real thing.

To an untrained eye, cricket looks like a make/believe sport. I constantly get clips on my Reddit timeline for some reason and I can’t wrap my head around the highlights, it’s like baseball on drugs. Also looks like something I’d have loved if it was a thing in America.

That one game in American Gladiators where they had to get balls into baskets guarded by the gladiators. I feel that could be a thing if you tweaked the rules

A real-life version of Windjammers would be pretty cool, too.

No journey psyche outs. But seriously though there would need to be realistic rules that would make it more challenging. Ex NBA guys would rarely get out

I just meant more at down at the YMCA you can't be milking your own tits to distract a guy, but you make a good point too.

Psyche outs would just be shouting penis and poop jokes.

Also looks like something I’d have loved if it was a thing in America. I'm going to marry these two posts, because cricket is basically Calvinball. Wildly inconsistent and constantly debated rules, bizarre scoring, and the whole thing being a game of wits and skill rather than physical or athletic aptitude.
I will say as a lifelong (although occasionally lapsed) lover of the game, cricket is not a sport you will ever understand solely watching highlights, you've got to be in it for the long haul, and it takes years to fully understand how it works, and even then I'm not sure anyone in the world 100% understands it because it's so idiosyncratic and frankly silly. Which is sort of its beauty.

(Or the one where the competitors are in the ball, Atlasphere) And as physically impossible as it is, Blitzball would probably be incredible to watch.

BASEketball probably has the most real world potential, though you can't act like you're the guys who invented South Park, so there needs to be a happy medium, but it could be a real thing. There was a short lived show called Let's Bowl that allowed for psych outs, granted it wasn't professional bowlers. Baseketball would probably work as a novelty without an actual league.
