Cap is the oddest one to me. Cause all the rest have like a cartoon and comic or toyline and comic. At that time all Cap had was his comic.

Can someone who knows who all those characters are please identify them all for me? Thanks. I can try. I see Captain America. Then there's Spiderman, Iceman, and Firestar along with Green Goblin. I'm assuming this was around the time Spiderman and his Amazing Friends aired on TV. Then there's Woodywood Pecker. i'm not sure about the Eagle, but if I had to guess, that's a prototype of Peacemaker's Eagly. Then there's Winnie the Pooh and I could be wrong, but I think he's there as a Liaison for Disney and this is their first time approaching Marvel about purchasing them. Behind pooh is a woman and it's obvious that it's the Babushka Lady from the Zapruder film. I'm not sure who the guy kneeling down on one knee is....Trojan Man? Yeah, let's just say that's Trojan man. I couldn't figure out who that lady was next to Spiderman, but after I magnified the picture a little more, I can say with confidence that it's Rep. Omar Ilhan who traveled back in time to take part in the Easter Egg Roll, something she probably didn't get to do in previous years. Everyone else are Chicago's finest teamsters who wanted to help with the roll and in no way was there to bury a certain teamster leaders body underneath the white house lawn. Hope this helped!

I believe "Trojan Man" is actually Crystar, from The Saga of Crystar/Crystal Warrior toyline and comic book. I imagine he was a package deal with Captain America (Marvel published his comic) as I can't believe, even back then, anybody requesting him to make an appearance.

Woody the Woodpecker should have gotten into a pecking battle with the giant eagle.

The Eagle, btw, is Sam, the mascot for the 1984 Olympics which was happening in LA.

I guessed that was Silver Surfer rather than Iceman, as he always had a bit of a cult following, and Iceman was mainly a secondary character, especially at a time before X-Men really took off as Marvel’s flagship franchise.

That’s definitely Iceman from Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.

AKA One of the strangest crossovers ever. I like the symbolism of a downbeat Captain America directly opposite a melancholy bald eagle..

I know there was one iin the 90s that got scrapped. I believe the 80's one only got as far as having the show bible written. Cap would take orders from the President and was apparently just a soldier not a super soldier. That last bit is my guess why it didn't get moved to further production.
