INT. NXT Locker Room - Night
Draco Anthony is heating up the locker room stove to make coffee. Close up shot of coffee brewing on stove. He then leaves the stove on after he gets a text. He looks at his phone as he walks away with the coffee pot. Xyon Quinn rushes in with the RUN IT STRAIGHT TEAM™ kids, all in RUN IT STRAIGHT™ shirts.
XYON: "Hold on Draco! You left the flame running. That's a reckless and potentially dangerous decision."
DRACO: "DON'T TELL ME WHAT ACTIONS OF MINE ARE OR AREN'T RECKLESS AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS."
Draco opens the coffee pot lid and drops his phone in it. He throws the coffee pot across the room and storms off.
KID 1: "Xyon, what's the big deal with leaving a stove top flame on, anyways?"
XYON: "Well, I'll tell you."
Close up shots of various stove related actions matching Xyon's monologue.
XYON (v.o.): "It's important to keep open flames on stovetops, or other heated equipment like ovens or fireplaces, off when you leave a room or can't pay attention to them. At home or in the NXT locker room, stand by your pan when cooking. Do not leave food, grease or oils cooking on the stove unattended. If you are simmering, baking, roasting, or boiling food, check it regularly, and use a timer to remind yourself that you’re cooking. Remain in the home while using the stove or oven. If you have to leave, turn the appliance off.
Keep pot handles turned inward to prevent accidental spills of hot contents. Keep flammable objects such as potholders, towels, paper, or plastic bags away from heating elements. Create a three-foot “child-and-NXT 2.0-superstar-free zone” around the stove. Keep children, NXT 2.0 rookies, and pets away from the stove while cooking to prevent burns and scalds. Avoid wearing loose-hanging clothing that can catch fire. If your clothing catches fire, stop, drop, and roll to put out flames. Never discharge a portable fire extinguisher into a grease fire. Put a lid on a grease fire to smother it, then turn off the heat. Baking soda will also work. For fires inside an oven or microwave, keep the door closed, turn off the appliance, and call the fire department. In the event of a fire, leave the CWC immediately and call 911. All fires and burns, regardless of size, should be reported to the fire department."
KID 1: "Wow, I learned a lot!"
XYON: "I'm glad YOU guys listen at least."
Xyon and all the kids laugh. Xyon looks at camera.
XYON: "And always remember..."
XYON AND KIDS (in unison): "RUN IT STRAIGHT™!"
