Has there really been any discernable shifts in eras since, say 2015, when decided Brock and Roman were their main guys?
The Golden/Hulkamania era, New Generation, Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression were all defining by the look, the roster, the booking, the promotional materials and logos, etc.
The last major change to the main product was the logo change. Since then it's just pushing the brand and the network. Honestly, these past seven years could just be called the 'content' era. It's here, it's monotonous, nothing shines, and if it does, it doesn't make a lasting impact or change the status quo.

I deleted my original post. I intended to delete the thread.
I was hoping for a discussion, not this.

The 'content' era, the 'TV deal' era, call it what you like, it's putting on shows to fill airtime.

2015-current is basically The We make money regardless era.
There hasn't been any real big shift in the programming since then outside of generally getting lazier and Roman is still the top guy and doing pretty much exactly the same stuff as he's always done...
i don't expect the era to change much if/when Roman is dethroned either... as as boring as I have found his run on top... they haven't really been setting the world on fire with the rest of the card either.

Endless heat era.
Sounds like one of those weirdly named Japanese shows mixed with Sunday night heat.
Suppose it's better than endless meat era, don't want to live on that planet.

I like the “Content” era others are saying.
WWE really has become a company that sort of just drifts along, ejecting as much filler content out into the world as possible, with very little passion or creativity behind it. Everything has become sterile and uninspired, and any time something does break the mould it just inevitably gets grounded up by the monotonous content machine.
Every match has the same structure, everyone speaks the same way, everything is shot the same way. Everything is branded to death. They care more about putting on a WWE show than a good show.
It’s just content for the sake of content.

The lost era, they have no clue on what tone or what style of booking they want to set. It seems to cater to the whims of an insane old man

I was going to say the "Treading Water Era" but I also like the Filler Era. The combination of wrestlers lasting longer (due to many reasons, feels like today's 40 year old dudes are the 80's 30 year old dudes) and the stagnation of storylines, along with the sheer amount of weekly content AND the 3 hour RAWs has morphed into this mass of wrestling that only ever inches along. And that minimal movement isn't even always forward. It goes backwards plenty as well.
The "Make Roman Look Strong" era is already 7+ years long with zero end in sight. That already longer than the entirety of Hogan's entire WCW run. The "LOL CENA WINS" Era was 2005ish to 2011ish when he finally started to lose often. So this current era either already has or shortly will be longer, once again with no end in sight. It's depressing honestly.
I guess I'm in favor of some sort of "Filler Era" mixed with "Roman STRONG". I just don't what catchy name to call it.

-The Endless Roman Build era led to -The "WWE as an entity is too rancid (and miserable) to admit to wathcing" era led to -The "They're not even bothering to pretend anymore, Vince even found himself a hatchet-man" Nick Khan era.

In WWE's history, this could be the Exposure Era, in that Vince's machinations are basically out there for all to see, that the fans no longer matter as an audience to be pursued, and that WWE has become a holding company with its wrestling operations merely a side interest.
In wrestling history as a whole, this could be known as a Revival Age given the numbers of promotions operating and the growing numbers of wrestlers making a living outside WWE.

The company is up for sale, but the owner doesn't really want to pull the trigger so it just mostly flounders outside of major PPV events era?
Too many words?
