the "surviving era" where the company does just enough to prove it's still alive and kicking but that's it.

I would say this is "The Social Era" The have used social media to explode...Their youtube platform is outrageous and they just won another award for their social presence www.wwe.com/article/wwe-wins-for-overall-social-media-excellence-brand-at-cynopsis-sports-media-awards#"WWE earned a noteworthy victory at the 2022 Cynopsis Sports Media Awards on Tuesday. In the category of "Overall Social Media Excellence (Brand)," WWE tied with CBS Sports to garner the win, besting FOX Sports, the NBA and Turner Sports. The Cynopsis Sports Media Awards are held annually and recognize "the industry’s biggest players and best work."

The company is up for sale, but the owner doesn't really want to pull the trigger so it just mostly flounders outside of major PPV events era? Too many words? Premium Live Events Era

To me, it's been the Part-Time Brock Era since roughly 2014. I think that's one of the biggest issues with modern-day WWE. Other than a cringy CGI veneer, nothing much has changed in damn near a decade.

Not an era.
Feels more like the Doldrums between eras.

That's pretty accurate, when they figured out they didn't need fans to be profitable the game changed.

I'd personally call it the "Objectively Worst Era" since there has never been another time where the quality of the TV product mattered so little. There's no incentive for WWE to do anything besides stay the course they're currently on. The future of this company seems likes it's going to be built on getting various outside celebrities and whatever Attitude Era guys are still around boosting passing interest in the product (see Wrestlemania).

The Reigns Era. Of the past 8 WrestleManias, Reigns has main-evented 6 of them.

The Brand or Universe Era. Nothing and no one is bigger than the brand and everything exists to push the brand. WWE owns it all and you exist to make because WWE.

To use a very crude historical comparison - if the Hogan Era was the Roman Republic and the Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression Era were the Roman Empire, this feels like the Byzantine Empire - it calls itself Rome, it upholds the Roman traditions, but it feels detached and less than what it was. And it goes on and on and on and on.....

It's the same era that began in 2002.
The post Atittude Era where the company lost interest in booking and star building and realised that the WWE brand name alone is enough to make profits.
