What do you think he would go by? Johnny Dynamite? Johnny Rampage? Johnny Elite?
I mean he has been Johnny Nitro, Johnny Mundo, and Johnny Impact. I wonder what he could go by if he was to join AEW.

He's going by Johnny Superstar in AAA these days.
That said, I wonder if there'd be a place for him in AEW at all right now, he's in his early 40s and his best work wasn't at any of the promotions Tony Khan marks for. I can't see him being offered more than a Matt Sydal-level spot.

Surprisingly, I saw him booked as John Morrison on some recent indy show. I guess that was just them trying to get some of that "Former WWE Wrestler" rub for ticket sales, though.
I don't think he comes to AEW, personally. Maybe this time a couple of years ago as he and Taya are tight with a bunch of people that work for AEW. But now? Roster's starting to get too stacked and Taya went back to Impact. But if he did wrestle in AEW? I like Johnny Elite.

I think he and Taya would've been easy gets if they didn't go to WWE instead. They were even in BTE videos. At the very least the Bucks and probably Cody and Omega would've vouched for them.

I know he worked GCW/Gringo Loco's WrestleMania lucha show as Johnny Cabalero, but also did Bloodsport under his shoot name (even if the crowd agreed he was Johnny Bloodsport).

I feel like it's not impossible he pops in for a couple of matches sometime, like one of the battle royals. Beyond that, though, yeah, hard to picture where he'd slot in, exactly. Doesn't mean he couldn't, but I just am not sure.
