When Cartoon Network started rerunning SF back in 1996 or so, we got all the 1973 eps, all the Challenge and World's Greatest eps, and all the Super Powers Team eps. Yet we DIDN'T have the All-New Superfriends Hour, nor the 1978 core team adventures, nor any of the 1980-83 shorts seasons. And what was most glaring of all, only two of the Legendary Super Powers Show episodes.
My question is, were the things we didn't get tied up with the Superman/Batman Adventures package? This was seen on the USA Cartoon Express and was a collection of DC cartoons: various Filmation series from the 60s along with some Superfriends. Now this package DID have ANSFH and the 80s shorts. You'd see references to the LSPS season in the opening too, but I don't think those episodes ever showed up. And why would all but two episodes be included on the SBA?
(Also of note: Super Powers Team footage also appeared in the SBA opening, but never showed up on there and CN ran the entire season. The Core 1978 adventures were not referenced at all on either)

I remember the Super Friends episodes aired on Saturday mornings. I mean the ones with Marvin, Wendy, and Wonder Dog. During the week, they would often air Challenge and World's Greatest, but I am having trouble remembering the others. I know that these shows are on HBO Max. Maybe I will have to find them to see what you were talking about. I used to watch Super Friends back in the day.
