Haven't seen the PPV yet,but so happy to see local ref and friend "Super" Dave Miller was the ref for the final Flair Match. Dave is a HUGE Flair fan and can't wait to see him in a few weeks and hear how this event was. Funny that after the ref bump, the Cultaholic guys were wondering if Charles Robinson was going to run out to count the 3.

So the overall show was good. Minus Flair. I really like how so many companies was involved and when the match came up for said company they brought in one of there announcers. The presentation was a cool through back. While it was sad to see Flair try and wrestle. How cool to see guys like Taker, Foley, and ext get noticed and ext. This was overall had this multi Universe feel because it was several companies and a PPV that had WWE related guys on it. Video or in crowd.

I'm going to make a bold prediction here... "This was not Ric Flair's final match" it was his last one until the next one.

Taker, Foley and Bret were in attendance congratulating Flair.
I'm considering wrestling beefs as kayfabe carny rubbish as words hardly ever match actions amongst these old timers.

Just so no one is confused about the above.
I'm not saying it should happen, I'm sure as shit not saying I want to see it... my point is that Ric is a carnie and will need cash sooner or later and "no see my real retirement match" is a good grift.

The show for the most part was really good. The crowd was pretty dead for the first few matches which is a shame because they were pretty good.
Haven't seen the Machine Guns in a while and it reminded me just how good a team they are. Wish a bigger company would pick them up.
The AAA match was my match of the night. All four guys came accross like stars.
The Impact title match was really good. Jacob Fatu needs to get signed.
Enjoyed the rolling commentators. Toni and David were fine but i feel needed to be supported at times. Ian, Tom Phillips and the guy who did the AAA match (sorry forgot his name) were all very good.
And the main event.....
I had low expectations from Flair because he's 73 years old and nearly died before. Yeah it got scary at times. Flair was out to it as the match went on. I figured he'd take a few minor bumps, blade, Andrade would do all the work, Flair comes in, chops, punches, low blows, strut, woo and Figure Four. He did all that but spent too much in the match. He clearly got rattled on something and him looking half dead on the apron and having to be held up to do the brass knuckle spot was concerning. Him admitting afterwards that he couldn't remember half the match is troubling.
Andrade, Jarrett and Lethal were all excellent. Jarretts entrance was great and he and Lethal played their parts perfectly.
Overall i really enjoyed the show. I never want to see Flair wrestle again.

A guy I know was there, and he said he thought Flair was drunk. I’d like to think he’d have better sense than that, but you never know.

Nothing to do with anything, but I love how people who Flair trashed in his book (Hart and Foley) were in the crowd and his opponent was yet another guy whom he blasted in "To Be The Man". Flair was probably like, "guys I swear Vince made me write that!"

My prediction is that, if Conrad does try to promote another supershow, Flair can't wrestle again on it without completely screwing up any good will. I do, however, think he'd think nothing of involving himself in other ways like special refereeing, being in someone's corner, etc. He'll still want money, and probably need money, but he's going to want to not piss these people off, at least for now. Outside of retirement shows, if Conrad does this again, I wonder what the gimmick would be. Maybe he can try to find guys who famously have beef to have a match, or to come together to make peace and tag against somebody or something.

Ok, gotta be honest here: I fully believe Flair's actual last match will be in a backyard with like 20 people watching him bleed buckets of blood

He doesn't have enough years left alive to use up that goodwill. Get Flair to your local shindy and they sell a 1000 seater on him alone

Or they were just there to make sure he stayed retired this time. That's both a joke and serious, the more this card was legitimatised and financially successful the more chance he has enough money not to try it again (at least theoretically).

As someone who stayed pretty far back from this, how involved was Conrad in terms of promoting/booking?
It seems from social media that he was the primary promoter, but I have no idea if he booked this shit?
Whoever booked they deserve at least a whack on the head with a big wooden spoon for booking Ric in a 27 match where he takes significant bumps.

Brian James and Conrad Thompson were primary producers. Match Agents/Producers: Tom Prichard Bully Ray Sinn Bodhi Wolfie D Scott Armstrong Dan McDevitt I'm assuming Brian kind of oversaw gorilla and helped agent that last match.
