Personally, for me... It's Sami Zayn.
I feel like during the peak of his "conspiracy victim" storyline, between the middle of two-thousand and twenty-to-the middle of two-thousand and twenty-two, he should have been the one to take the Money in the Bank briefcase from Otis and ostensibly done the exact same thing with it that The Miz did. However, the one slight altercation I'd made to the story arc is actually have him walk into "Wrestlemania" as the WWE Champion and defend it against Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match.
Even though, it was a missed opportunity to use Zyan to his best potential, it's something they could always do in the future as his character is more-or-less than same as it was a year or two ago.

I know he did but that wasn’t the point I was making. It was said that Finn balor’s one day reign didn’t really count. I said that if Kane winning the title for a day counts(which WWE do count it) than Finn brief title reign should count also. That was my point. It does count, WWE acknowledges it. They acknowledge Andre and Seth holding the WWF Title for less than 5 minutes. I don’t know why someone would think it doesn’t count. Was Andre always counted? I feel like that is a recent-ish thing for style reason.

Sami or Woods. Both are over enough with the crowd to warrant a run.

I feel like that is a recent-ish thing for style reason. I was under the impression that Andre's win over Hogan always counted, but Ted was always the real point of contention, with WWE not recognizing his run despite Wikipedia saying he had a title defense against Bam Bam days after the title win.

Sami, but in a year or two these young newcomers Theory and Ezekiel might change that discussion.

It's hard to believe he hasn't even held either the US or IC Title yet.

Why do I find it so disturbing that you wrote the years out in words

It felt like Nakamura had ten billion chances to win a world title from Jinder and AJ combined and they just never gave it to him
Count me in on Zayn, dude should get a run because he has done most everything asked of him and made it work, and he made a match with Knoxville at Mania one of the matches of BOTH nights.

Zayn for sure, with Nakamura trailing slightly behind.
Zayn would be a perfect MITB winner this year.
