I think they kinda did this on Hogan's first WCW match with Flair.
I remember he threw Flair out of the ring or something and then we heard the "He's AAAMEEEEHAAAAHAAAHAAAARICAN MAAAAYAAAAAAAAAYAAAAAAAAAADE" and then Hogan went into a mid-match posedown.

Who could forget the Menagerie? Rebel's booty is literally the only reason I remember the Menagerie lol For as stupid and over the top as the stable was Rebel and Crazy Steve have parlayed it into some pretty long, fairly successful careers in the wrestling business. |

Sometimes The Road Warriors defeated their opponents before Ozzy even got a chance to sing. I'm certain I've seen Warrior run down, win, and run off all before his music even did a loop. Hell, I think he did it against Andre. |

I'd hate that. Occasionally the music keeps playing after a football match kicks off and it always annoys me.
That said I recently saw the magical sugar rabbits have some sort of fan show exhibition match where they'd play a different wrestlers entrance music and they'd mimic that wrestlers schtick until the music changed. I'd like to see that with in WWE with some of their best known themes.
