It might have been a tag match? Results said it was a singles match. No idea why Sami was out there though. Sami and Drew are feuding on Smackdown so probably to do with that. As for Lashley, they probably had uneven heel/face split for the UK tour so just mixed things around a bit. |

Drew is facing Roman at the London show which fits more with what the plans seem to be going forward but Roman is only working a couple of shows on the tour (London & Paris I think) so Lashley is the substitute for the other shows. It’s the same with Ronda she’s booked against Charlotte for the shows she’s on (the same ones as Roman I think) everywhere else gets Charlotte vs Sasha Banks which I’d prefer tbh if I was going. |

I have to wonder if McIntyre was meant to do the “cut the rope with the sword” bit with Zayn and it just gave way when Lashley ran into them. Like, on the rare occasions that the ropes do go, it’s usually at the corners, not smack dab in the middle.

I’d hope not because that would be pretty risky on an overseas tour that isn’t being filmed. I mean drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley aren’t small guys and you’re relying on them to not hit that spot in the match or other matches prior to it. |
