For me:
-Some of the humor was lame
-The titles were practically meaningless
-Commentators talking too much (and trying too hard to put certain things over) during in-ring promos/interviews
-The botched invasion angle

The over-sexualization of the women and some storylines.

That DX segment involving parodying the nation with Xpac in blackface.
In fact a lot of the edgy humor hasn't aged well.

The crude humor was very off-putting for me. I found myself watching increasingly more WCW and increasingly less WWF as the era went on.

WTF was with Undertaker burning a Teddy bear and making Vince McMahon cry?

It's weird because theres a hell of a lot that is wrong with the Attitude Era if I look at it now with my 2022 head on, but as a 13 year old kid watching the product I'm almost certain that I probably didn't care about any of those issues.
I think the only thing I can say was that I was never fully on board with any incarnation of DX as a kid. They just didn't do it for me, and of course now some of it is completely unwatchable.

WTF was with Undertaker burning a Teddy bear and making Vince McMahon cry? It was Stephanie's teddy bear. Undertaker was sending a message that one day he would make Stephanie his dark bride but she'd be saved by Stone Cold and then later discover that her father sacrificed her to the Undertaker as a means of harming Stone Cold so Stephanie took revenge by marrying HHH and creating a power couple that would eventually....

The scratch logo.
I know WHY, and for the overall company it did work...but I just never liked it. Even less so when they had to drop the F from the company.
Give me the block or even the current logo any day.

A lot of Lawler's commentary doesn't hold up. He just about ruins Eddie Guerrero matches for me when I watch stuff from 2000.

The horrendous treatment of the women, even as a teen I found it so disgusting and awful how they were used.

How about the deterioration of Lawler as commentator? He was great as the pure heel color guy, then by 1999 or so we got the puppies-obsessed caricature and never looked back. (EDIT: Oh I see, we got that already) Undertaker oddly enough valleyed out for much of this era...Kane feud start/tweener vs. Austin was okay, but I remember my dad, who was a big fan of his in the early 90s, seeing the skit where they sacrifice Dennis Knight and wondering what the hell that was. Then we get the Bikertaker phase...oh boy... How about...street cred for life for Vince Russo? Because of the AE, he could always play the (inaccurate) "I made Austin, Rock, etc. etc. bro" card.
