First of all, what is the Mandela Effect? According to a definition from the google that I am using, The Mandela Effect refers to a situation in which a large mass of people believes that an event occurred when it did not.
One common Mandela Effect is one people swearing that there was a movie in theaters at the same time as Kazam starring Sinbad as a genie.
You ever hear a Mandela Effect that was common knowledge but then looked deeper into it thought, "Hey wait, that's not how I remember it at all."
Like that Sinbad example I just mentioned above. What if I told you that I remember thinking that there was a Sinbad-Kazam connection, but completely different than what's generally agreed upon. I thought Sinbad was actually IN Kazam and the reason he was dressed as a genie was because he was a merchant and was either telling the audience the story of the movie in a parody of Aladdin or sold the boombox containing the genie to the main character. I never actually watched the movie, btw. Imagine my surprise learning years later that Sinbad was never in the movie at all.
So, FAN, what say you. What examples of Mandela Effects did you misremember?

You're talking about Kazam though, right?

You're talking about Kazam though, right? Yup. Can't even remember the title of the movie, apparently.

The Mandela effect is really fascinating. I have heard some crazy theories that involves alternative realities and that sort of crazy shit.
On a side note, does anyone else remember Don King dying? I swore he was dead but he's still doing his thing alive and well
As for the original post, are you meaning misremembering something that's misremembered?

Visions of Fatima although I'm sure there is a logical explanation what they saw.

I never knew of them as I grew up in the UK and they’re not that well-known here but Mrs. DiG grew up in the USA and she (and apparently many others) always remembered The BerenstEin Bears when they are and always have been The BerenstAin Bears.

Not a Mandela effect per se but my brain is broken in some weird way where I always confuse Jake Gyllenhaal with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and vice versa for some reason. This happens randomly too if I have ever mentioned one of their movies. Usually, I am always wrong as to which one starred in the movie. The weird thing is they do not even physically resemble each other...

I get the Sinbad thing because Sinbad wore a lot of clothes that resembled what Kazam wore in the movies. Lots of baggy and bright colorful pants and shiny shirts

I go through that a lot with celebrity deaths. I'll hear a death announced, and I could just swear up and down they'd passed away years earlier. Like, I'll full-on remember reading an announcement of their death years earlier, but nope, they just now passed. It kind of messes with me sometimes.

Sydney Poiter died recently and i every time I heard he was alive, I thought he died much earlier,

It's like "plugging in USB" odds. I'm wrong 80% of the time easily.

Excluding the alternate universe where they’re the Bloodstain Bears….

Not only do I remember the Fruit of the Loom logo having a cornucopia, I even remember my first grade teacher teaching us the word "cornucopia" by telling us "It's that thing on the Fruit of the Loom logo," and we all said, "Oh yeah, that thing!" My brother goes so far as to believe that there really was a cornucopia at one time, but all evidence of it has mysteriously vanished.

I could have sworn there was a cornucopia back in the 90s-00s

i have one about wrestling, that i'm not 100% sure on, but I could have sworn I saw an interview with Bobby Heenan around the time Terry Taylor debuted in the WWF, he basically said Terry Taylor was so good at wrestling he could be given a silly nickname and would be able to make it work and then he introduced him as the Red Rooster. now. i'm not sure if i've made this up, actually seen this or just spent too much time near that gas leak by my house, but in my head it exists, so that has to be something right?
