Micheal Keaton could be Mr. McMahon type heel based off his Dumbo role. Check him out as Ray Kroc in "The Founder", that's more or less what you get.

David Tennant, his Purple Man gave me the chills. Did you watch Des? Jesus, he was great in that.

David Tennant, his Purple Man gave me the chills. Seconded. He was f***ing terrifying in that role. I'll add Robin Williams in One Hour Photo and that episode of SVU.

Michael Fassbender's proven fantastic at playing sympathetic heels (Magneto), completely despicable ones (Edwin Epps), and even layered quasi-villainous protagonists (Steve Jobs).

Angela Lansbury was a fantastic villain in the original Manchurian Candidate.

David Tennant, his Purple Man gave me the chills. Did you watch Des? Jesus, he was great in that. Also gave the performance of a lifetime as the worst person in history with his turn in Deadwater Fell.

I think everything I've ever seen Peter Greene in, he's been a villain.

Angela Lansbury was a fantastic villain in the original Manchurian Candidate. Then she went onto greater fame as an author who went around pinning her murder spree on unsuspecting patsies.

Second Christopher McDonald. I don't think I ever saw him in anything playing any kind of good guy. Funny enough, one of the first movies I remember seeing him in was a late 80s romantic comedy 'Chances Are,' where he played the male lead character that eventually would be portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.. Technically wasn't the bad guy in that one if you want to count it!

When Rickman brought his A-game, he was almost untouchable. The man was that damn good. This is a really good dissection of his performance in Die Hard, and just how much he brought to the performance:
