Christopher McDonald was the go to actor for smug sleazebag characters in the 90s.

Cate Blanchett was a surprisingly terrifying heel in that Thor movie.

William Atherton springs to mind. Additionally, Paul Reiser saying even his parents were rooting for him to die horribly in Aliens.

Alan Rickman was great at playing villains. Gone way too soon.

Alan Rickman was great at playing villains. Gone way too soon. He did sometimes bemoan it since he was so often typecast as villains. He did tell a child once who asked him why he played so many villains, "I don't play villains. I play interesting people."

Paul Gleason was great as the arsehole in Trading Places, The Breakfast Club and Die Hard.

Second Christopher McDonald. I don't think I ever saw him in anything playing any kind of good guy.
I think most of the Columbo actors played the killer role real well. I got heat on here before about William Shatner but everything I've seen him in he's the bad guy. It's an extension of his real life persona, from what I've read. Sorry, I've never watched Star Trek.

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

GW Bailey and Art Metrano were both awesome heels in the Police Academy movies.

Also, even though he prefers to be the face from what I can tell, Tom Cruise was a sick ass bad guy in Collateral.

It's deeply disturbing seeing Patrick Stewart play a Neo Nazi in Green Room.

I only think he was a heel in Harry Potter after playing Amon Göth in Schindler's List, but damn did Ralph Fiennes leave an impression by playing those roles.

Micheal Keaton could be Mr. McMahon type heel based off his Dumbo role.
