There’s something amiss if an AEW wrestlers takes an outside booking and is then ordered to drop it after it’s been booked and advertised. I mean if the office approves it, they should know their own production schedule and whatever else they might need wrestlers for (appearances here and there, etc.) and check it before doing so. But once they’ve allowed someone to book themselves, it’s a bad look to then say ‘sorry we decided we need you, cancel it.’ Not fair to the indie promoters or fans who might be buying tickets or the wrestler himself/herself. We also know that while AEW is more liberal than WWE in this regard, they also don’t allow their wrestlers to go on a WWE show or, presumably, anywhere else they consider competition. Even if they’re not being used by AEW that night. And we’ve heard that some guys (Mox, Kenny, Jericho and others I think) have it in their contracts that they can do dates in Japan. Which leads to the logical conclusion that it’s not allowed otherwise (if so, why would they need it in their contracts if everybody is allowed to in their contracts). So yeah they can do more outside bookings than WWE (and WWE talent have done outside bookings), but they can’t just say ‘I’m yours on Wednesdays’ and book anything they’d like outside of that. Which is still more restrictive than an ‘independent contractor’ should be. So this is a whole bunch of bullshit. AEW only blocks independent bookings when it interferes with their own schedule, and they provide a make-good to promoters when it happens. Right of first refusal is an entirely normal thing, and AEW has gone out of their way to provide restitution for both workers and promoters whenever there is an issue. Comparing this to WWE is absolute anti-worker bullshit, and I'll happily expand on this if you want to. But more importantly, turkey bacon is better than pork bacon. So I hate to derail from cereal chat but this isn't even remotely true anymore. Bryan Danielson wanted to work a show in Seattle and Tony said he wasn't allowed to. Because he doesn't want Danielson wrestling there until AEW runs a show there. And then Tony went on to say in an interview that AEW only plans on running one or two shows over on the west coast any time soon, neither of which is anywhere near Seattle. So its Tony just being a dick to people. |

I get it from a business standpoint that he wants Danielson to have his big return home for AEW, but don't be shocked if Danielson just shows up at a DEFY show without warning, they're pretty cool with AEW right now, and if they aren't going to Seattle within the next year, it's likely we'd see that happen at least appearance wise. That being said, the Mods made it pretty clear the "AEW/Tony Khan bad" chat should stop in this thread, so we should probably just get back to the cereal/foods chat. |

Also my two cents on the topic is that other wrestlers have walked off before. Its not going to lead into a massive walkoff. If anything the Usos would probably stay with the E seeing as how they managed to scrape their DUIs under the surface. I do wonder what the real problem stemmed from. I think it mightve been death from a thousand cuts and this was the last straw. But it's very telling that none of the active roster on that show is sticking up for Sasha.

I know we're trying to keep this a light and fun board but this was an interesting topic regarding labor laws and walking off the job. This is FAN my dude... you can't tell FAN to not make a crazy thread into a food one after awhile, this is in the forum's DNA, it's just how it happens No one's saying this isn't a serious topic of discussion either... we just have nothing else to add until more is added to the story, and it's probably best we deviated into a lighthearted chat until then because things in here were getting too testy tbh. I do get the notion of people seeing the topic balloon and thinking something happened further... but again, this is FAN, it's been this way for a loooong time lol. |

I want someone to blade after having Captain Crunch rubbed on their forehead. I want there to be a deathmatch, and when someone pulls out a bag, instead of thumbtacks, it's Captain Crunch and Crunch Berries cereal. I want to see someone tossed into Captain Crunch. And, I might add, the cereal/food discussion has been some of the most fun and civil chatting this board has had in what feels like a long time at least on the wrestling boards. People have been at each others throats lately especially with what has already been said and labeled as weird tribalism fight picking that has quite frankly exhausted all parties I frankly welcome the breakfast and cereal discussion, despite some more of that tenseness leaking in above, until something new comes along in what the actual topic is about, I really don't blame the Mods for steering it into a topic where people can actually enjoy themselves for a few hours, because that topic makes about as much sense as the OTHER topic people decided to bring into this thread for no reason and cause arguments tbh. Speaking of things not mixing well, those Kellogs Fusion Boxes were weird to me. I tried the "Fruit Loops and Frosted Flakes" combo one and it felt like they didn't really compliment one another at all lol. Frosted Flakes and Apple Jacks might've more... that was a box I just didn't get that one |

I was very much good with a Bowl of Cereal and like, maybe some toast and a side drink lol, interchanging cereal for Toaster Scramblers, Eggs, and other things throughout the week. Sometimes getting to school early enough for their breakfasts as well which also was a fun change of pace depending. They also had those peel top cereal cups, which my sister still gets because she works in a hospital and they're a really great and quick breakfast solution for all ages! |

And if you just want to go by the way they've been pushed during 90% of their tenure, I can't think of a tag team besides them and New Day that have had the prolonged continuous push/tv presence that they've had in like, decades. |
