Sasha Banks and Naomi leave Raw after creative dispute

The main event for tonight's Monday Night Raw broadcast changed at the last minute to Becky Lynch vs. Asuka after two talents walked out late in the day before Raw went on the air in Norfolk, Virginia.

The word making the rounds backstage at the taping is that Sasha Banks took issue with some of the planned creative for the original main event, a Raw Six Pack Challenge to determine Bianca Belair's next challenger at Hell in A Cell. Banks had a meeting with Vince McMahon and the belief among those we've heard from is that when McMahon didn't choose to change direction on the plans, Banks wouldn't back down on her issues and made the decision to leave the taping.

Naomi, her WWE Women's Tag Team Championship partner, left with Banks, even though she was also booked in the main event match.

WWE quickly shot several new segments with Adam Pearce and Becky Lynch to instead set up Asuka vs. Lynch as the new main event.

I think she REALLY wants out of that contract and wants to go to hollywood.

Naomi should take Jim with her as a walkout.

There's definitely something going on with Sasha. Some people noticed over the weekend she unfollowed almost everyone on Twitter. Wrestlers from multiple companies, acting people, random fans. Looking at it right now and the only people she's still following are Naomi, Tamina, Snoop Dogg, John Cena and a couple of Sasha fansite accounts.

Sasha had no trouble with creative when she and Bayley clowned the entire f***ing division and literally had every title for a stretch in the build to a feud between them that absolutely nobody wanted

Interesting situation. I doubt she walked out just because she'd be losing. It also wouldn't make sense for her to lose.

Naomi is bulletproof since she got them bloodline ties tho.

There is absolutely no guarantee of that. We thought that of several other signings and they are all still positioned below Britt and Jade.

I doubt Sasha would even stay in wrestling if WWE cut her. She'd probably just focus on acting.

Sasha and Naomi are both independent contractors so they have every right to walk out if they don't like the terms of their job. More power to them, I say. Neither woman owes WWE a thing with the way they've been used throughout the years (Naomi much more so, admittedly).

Fightful Select apparently said the original plans was for Naomi to go over and challenge Bianca for the title at Hell in a Cell, which makes this walkout all the more baffling.
