Wouldn't be the same problems though - in AEW Sasha would be the top star in the division by a very very long shot There is absolutely no guarantee of that. We thought that of several other signings and they are all still positioned below Britt and Jade. Nah, Sasha would be a game-changer. Take her small cultural notoriety, her name value to the wrestling community, and most importantly her in ring prowess and she’s someone who could single handedly lift that division up. However, this is allegedly a habit, So ya throw that in there but hey look at Punk.

Fightful Select apparently said the original plans was for Naomi to go over and challenge Bianca for the title at Hell in a Cell, which makes this walkout all the more baffling. It would've made sense for someone other than Asuka or Becky to win seeing as they were probably going to have their own singles match (who knows what's happening now) but Bianca v Naomi would have been a really random match. Face v face with no heat between them and Naomi is half of the tag champs.

Think the original plan was for this to be the start of the "breakup angle" between her & Naomi and have them split while still being champions and they use that to get rid of the tag titles in one full swoop.

I don't get why you'd book Naomi vs Bianca. That match would be awesome but it does nothing for either woman.

I don't mind it in isolation - like PAC I think was justified for instance - but when Sasha keeps doing it it's hard to not just see it as a her problem. I mean isn't this only the second time this sorta thing has happened with Sasha? There was the time where she asked for and was denied her release after she and Bayley dropped the tag belts at Mania 35, and tonight.

Nah, I think the plans were to eventually have them drop the titles to Nikki ASH/Doudrop or another tag team. I don't think they are getting rid of the tag titles. Regardless, Sasha doesn't look good here. I don't get why you'd book Naomi vs Bianca. That match would be awesome but it does nothing for either woman. Because for all intents and purposes, Hell in a Cell is a filler PPV with absolutely no consequences with no chance of Bianca losing the title. Naomi is a perfect filler challenger.

Probably as a way of rewarding Naomi for her work this year while also letting Asuka/Becky be a separate feud, if I had to guess.
Also, while it's hard to judge on this while only knowing part of the story, I do feel bad for Nikki/Doudrop getting dropped from the main event too. Obviously neither would have won, but it still would have been a prominent match for them.

I think it's too early to break up Naomi & Sasha but if she left over that? That ain't a good look. And damn, Naomi a real one because it would have been hard for me to leave because she would have got a bigger push than she's gotten in years.

I think one of the Usos said a few days ago that Naomi has been desperate to join the Bloodline for a while and with Rhea joining JD and Liv joining Not-Bullet Club they seem to be more open to females joining factions. Turning Naomi heel is something you do after she drops the tag titles though. Not randomly in the middle of the reign.

It would feel like she's checked out? It's been a bumpy last few years for her.
I don't remember what year it was but didn't her and Bayley do something backstage after they didn't like the result?

Damn, how many times has sis done this?
At some point this is unprofessional and is going to follow you because if you going to Hollywood and walk out of sets because you in a bad mood, you are going to have a short shelf life

In a vaccum, Sasha isn't necessarily wrong to dislike/argue the booking but it looks suspect that she only has these moral stands when it involves her looking bad.

That was debunked by other sources that weren't named Ryan Satin. But Sasha in particular has been really not great behavior wise as of late. Walking out of Summerslam at the last minute and screwing over Bianca, and this was after she had pretty much dominated the entire pandemic era and was part of a Wrestlemania Main Event as well.
