It would feel like she's checked out? It's been a bumpy last few years for her. I don't remember what year it was but didn't her and Bayley do something backstage after they didn't like the result? That was debunked by other sources that weren't named Ryan Satin. But Sasha in particular has been really not great behavior wise as of late. Walking out of Summerslam at the last minute and screwing over Bianca, and this was after she had pretty much dominated the entire pandemic era and was part of a Wrestlemania Main Event as well. I thought she tested positive for Covid and went into protocols? This is nuts if she already walked out once...

In fairness we still don't know the hell what happened there.

Losing Sasha no matter what anyone thinks of her actions here would be absoloutley devistating IMO because their depth issues are already bad enough but who you gonna get to replace her? and losing her opens the door to her sooner or later ending up possibly in AEW.
And with the AEW and Stardom connection now seemingly a thing and it being a place Sasha would die to work for would intice Sasha further.
For Sasha there is alot more positive to her leaving this company staying in it.

It isn’t, but with how openly they’ve mentioned it on the broadcast tonight, you would swear this was a work. But it looks like WWE is just going scorched earth on them.

I don't mind it in isolation - like PAC I think was justified for instance - but when Sasha keeps doing it it's hard to not just see it as a her problem. I mean isn't this only the second time this sorta thing has happened with Sasha? There was the time where she asked for and was denied her release after she and Bayley dropped the tag belts at Mania 35, and tonight. There was the whole weirdness around Summerslam last year but to this day I don't think we know exactly what was going on there. It was heavily speculated at the time that she wasn't vaccinated but that theory never held up for me because I'm sure she worked in arenas that required vaccination immediately before and after that month off she had.

Daaamn they mentioned it on RAW too! “Unprofessionally walking out..” Okay.... now it feels like a work. When Austin left the building and went home in 2002 after he was asked to lose a KOTR qualifier to Brock Lesnar, they mentioned it on that night's Raw.

If this is it, at least we will always have this moment in time. This picture also puts another piece to this , is that if Naomi is willing to walk out with Sasha what if Sasha leaving ends up with her taking Bayley with her to just out of sheer friendship between them I mean I think here said it that Bayley and Sasha are so close that they pretty much demanded to always be on the same brand together. I get why WWE is going scorched earth with this but gotta think of all the other dominos that may fall from doing so.

If she walked out because she didn't favor a creative direction, companies like STARDOM aren't going to touch her with a fifty yard pole when she is told she has to lose to someone. Same goes for if she goes to AEW. The costs massively outweigh the benefits here. I also don't think them losing Bayley matters much to WWE as they have women like Alba Fyre/KLR and Io Shirai in NXT who could be called up and fill those spots as the skilled wrestlers.

In a vaccum, Sasha isn't necessarily wrong to dislike/argue the booking but it looks suspect that she only has these moral stands when it involves her looking bad. Well wrestling is an inherently selfish business and you have to look out for yourself. If you're on top and beating everyone and making them look like crap you're probably not going to kick up much of a fuss. Like Austin walking out over poor creative and being asked to lose to Brock then coming back and quite happily agreeing to creative that sees him burying guys like Lance Storm.

And the big difference with the Austin comparison is, where was Austin gonna go? Sasha’s got at least one big ‘ol option.

I should mention I don't think Bayley is going to walk out with Sasha. Especially since Sasha apparently blocked her on twitter? Or at least unfollowed her. Also CM Punk is the exception rather than the rule, and also his return to AEW in reality didn't move the needle. It gave them a boost for a month or so, but then fell back down to their usual ratings.
