If he’s actually considering going to wwe I don’t think it would be a good idea to put the world title on him till after he signs an extension. He can hold the TNT title though.

I'm pretty damn sure he's the one taking it from either Punk or Hangman. Probably Hangman.

There’s still a while to go before 2024. Even without signing an extension, he can still get a run with the title.

If he re-signs, yep. If not, nope.

There's a while to go, but consider the broad, long tenured reigns AEW tends to give its world champions. And MJF isn't the kind of character I think you can get away with a month long transitional run on. That's a lot of work and time to put on a guy if terms can't be met.

He's winning it this year.

I’d have Punk beat Hangman and have MJF beat Punk at All Out.

No. Why would he want a title in a "small pond" as I've heard AEW hilariously described in twitter.
If I were Tony I'd tell him; "You resign and you got yourself a title".

I'd have him win it, and then sign a "letter of intent" to go to WWE on top of it. NUCLEAR HEAT!

I actually think he'll be the one to dethrone Hangman.

He should have taken it off Moxley 2 years ago.

He should have taken it off Moxley 2 years ago. That’s something you’d wanna do with the live crowd involved. And I don’t think he was as good then as he is now.

He’ll win it before the year is out.

I would have Page complete his heel turn at DoN, cheating to beat Punk in the process. Eddie Kingston is primed for a big - underdog that no one predicted finally wins the big one - type of push to beat Page. Then, very quickly, like the next Dynamite, or even the same night, have MJF win the title off of Kingston. Punk then dethrones MJF to send him home packing if MJF is truly leaving.

I could see him winning it IN 2024, and I'd have him win it from Punk for maximum effect. Play off of the Summer Of Punk storylines

He should have taken it off Moxley 2 years ago. Disagree strongly. He was not the guy he is now that he was then. He's gone through so much development since then and improved A LOT in many people's eyes, that I feel like NOW he feels like he's a very worthy holder of that belt.

He should as he’s definitely at that level now, but if he doesn’t re-sign they may be hesitant.

Yeah, that Mox match opened up a LOT of people's eyes, including myself. I said it at the time, and I stand by it: 'The next time that guy wrestles in a World Title match he's going to win the belt'. I think it happens this year.
